On heat item: I was thinking trousers. (not sure what a jumper is?) Because most people have something in the chest slot already, as far as I can see. Then again if you manage to keep your torso warm, it will help keeping warm the remainder of the body...
But maybe people have pants, too, and TL just doesn't draw then as obvious as the chest armor, I'd need to look it up. But I'm open to suggestions.

Edit 1: ah, jumper is a sweater. So maybe something you can put onto the chest slot OVER e.g. armor. But even better might be some sort of "underwear", that you can wear closer to your skin than the armor? So it doesn't get damaged in the fight? Also you wouldn't need to keep the armor warm, too.

Edit2: I just checked the character's sheets and there I found 3 people who have chest slot filled, but not the pants, one who has pants, but no chest piece, and the rest seem to either have or lack both. (Though, I'm pretty sure Finds should wear the armor with the essence of water, because I definitely put it on before facing the fire thingies...)
So if under/overwear is not possible, I'm going to opt for pants.

Right. So you can wear one item per body slot only. You guys also have a fair amount of gear in your inventories that you're not using (a bear skull breastplate springs to mind). Before you start making a lot of extra stuff, you might want to check what you already have stored. Also, like I mentioned before, the approach dusk tried before with stored heat was perfectly good, he just needed more mp and maybe a warmer set of clothes than the robe to pull it off safely...

If you want to make more stuff then be my guest, but I'm not sure you need to...

Edit: mind that eaten already has a piece of rock from the mountaintop in his inventory. (just in case you'd forgotten)

I'd much prefer to have the info on forum. I don't mind OP but if the info is right there in thread it makes things so much easier (at least for me).

Either is fine with me, as long as it's current. (And yeah, I know that's a LOT of work. Thanks for doing it, TL.)

So, how about an accessory, then? Like a scarf? Keeping the wearer magically warm, no matter what? We got room for 3 accessories on each char. Is that a viable option, TL?

Yeah, a scarf would count as an accessory (as would cloaks or what have you) and it would be possible to imbue it with heat as you craft it. It might not protect you 100% from the cold, but something like that would certainly give a decent bonus :) Accessories CAN stack (so you can wear 2 rings, or a cloak AND a scarf), but you can only have 3.

All righty. I'm happy to run a trial of the in-forum inventory management then, but since it IS a load of work and I really need to work on The Island for a bit, would you guys mind helping me out with it? If everyone could fill a table with their own character's stuff in it and post it here then I can just pick them out of here for the next update (which will be on Sat). It also means that you can check that your details / items are up-to-date and correct.

If you quote my post with Burned's details in it, you'll be able to lift the formatting code from there and can just copy-paste your OP info straight into the new table. Don't worry about item categories in the inventory if you're not sure - I can sort those out for you afterwards. If you have any problems, just post what you have and we'll get it fixed.
