OOC: darkness and daggers

Post by LAYF » Tue Dec 30, 2014 9:51 am

OOC: All players non character talk and (non players talk in general) in here.

So...

Q/A

Q's From GM:

Q: Would you guys like all talk updates (That is, if the players all talk/ask questions, I'll respond whenever I'm online and have the time, instead of awaiting a full update... this way some updates will go faster and you'll not have to wait for a graphical update unless something actually happens)`
A: Yes.

Yeah, if we're just trying to have a dialog, get some information, and are waiting on that before we act, I think a talk update is in order. Or if talking doesn't interfere with actions.

Agreed.
My game:
Hunters of Letrua; Character list
Also Player / Monster stats, skill lists.

My characters:
Tugs Tails, the goblin that was sort of a trapper and wears a bear's tail at his neck, for some reason - Lair of the Mountain King (Run by Thinks)
Alex Sparo, A city boy, poor of sight, who has learned to manipulate people and make the most of what he, and others, have - Trinity Isles (Run by Mort)
Mehriv Turajin, a Noble Dragonborn Sorcerer sent from his clan because he wasn't dragony enough. - The Wandering Archipelago (Run by Thinks)

The orc takes an arrow from his quiver? How much freedom of movement does he have while bound by plants?

At this level "binds your enemy in place till he can get free" is all it does... he cannot rotate or move from the spot...

So he can move his arms, but not his legs. Good to know.

Okay... that is nice to know...
I'm not sure yet how fast I'll do "Advancement"

But what do you guys like, fast? really fast? slow or?

This dungeon is meant as an intro, so its short... but would you like:
Points
-per battle
-per defeated opponent
-per room
-per dungeon
-mission
-mile stone (small goals)

points are used to advance your character between levels.

when you advance in a level you may advance/train abilities you already have or train endurance/power
... price system is simple...
advancements costs 1 point in level 1, 2 in level 2, 3 in 3 and so on.
you gain a level when you have advanced 5 times.
when you gain a level you gain:
-ability or 1 health
-2 endurance or 2 power

I think you know better than I do how to pace these things. And I'm willing to go along with the experiment.

Right now, though, I can bind one enemy per turn and maybe make frost arrows. Otherwise, I'm kind of useless in a fight. Which is what I get for building a somewhat rounded support character rather than a fighter.

So, yeah, wouldn't mind leveling up soon. But you know what we're up against, how the system works, etc. I trust your judgement.

I'd say either per opponent or per room, at least to see how they go at first.
