I figure Koa is almost done at which point we can finally restore timeline stability and have the three of you go together. :shifty:

Fair enough. Wasn't sure whether you'd just forgotten about us

@Burns: I think it's one of these things?

So you need a steady hand (i.e. Focus) otherwise you'll touch the wire and set off the buzzer.

Yeah, it's one of those things.

And I could probably be persuaded to "allow" perception rather than combat (Just like I allow other rolls if I find they make sense such as intuition for the pokemon door), but I'd probably increase the DC per point gained...

Thanks very much Burns. Would you like a Sewaddle? Leavanny? Fletchling? Or I can look for something else for you.

I don't suppose you made a copy of your previous post, Mort? :shifty:

In any case, it's probably best we start saving our own posts until the forum situation stabilizes.

I'm afraid I didn't, no.... Do you need it? :shifty:

Anyways... I think the forums are getting back to a point of stability it should be safe to continue the game. I'll probably keep backups of any updates for a while though, just in case.

I think the only thing of note Jack said was that there was a Mathias that lived in the Northern, abandoned part of town? I don't remember exactly what he said, but something along those lines.

Also Koa got a 7, Irene got a 9, and Ochrana got a 14 (though he's a pokemon, so that might not be as useful)

Yeah, there was just one "obvious plot hook" to potentially be explored. I'll quickly recap it for you: There's an "aether corporation" still working from the North-Western part of town, and the current running president has a son by the name of Mathias, who may or may not be disowned.

Strangely enough, I think Alex would have preferred a maze full of demons over robots. That way he'd actually be able to do stuff instead of just fumbling around and getting lucky. :p
My game:
Hunters of Letrua; Character list
Also Player / Monster stats, skill lists.

My characters:
Tugs Tails, the goblin that was sort of a trapper and wears a bear's tail at his neck, for some reason - Lair of the Mountain King (Run by Thinks)
Alex Sparo, A city boy, poor of sight, who has learned to manipulate people and make the most of what he, and others, have - Trinity Isles (Run by Mort)
Mehriv Turajin, a Noble Dragonborn Sorcerer sent from his clan because he wasn't dragony enough. - The Wandering Archipelago (Run by Thinks)

Vader, could you give me a tech edu roll to see how much Koa would know about the pokeballs? Izzy can do the same for the TM discs.

I suppose I should remind you guys that Jeremy is around if you'd want an "expert" opinion on things, given he'd probably be able to tell... But I'd also just like to point out that depending on what he actually says, some haggling methods you guys might like to employ might disappear...

Izzy might ask for help once she realises how little she knows. Depends what ones are available though - if there's no TMs that I care about, I probably won't bother.

Yeah, that's definitely fair. I figured I just ought to mention, given how it's something I could easily see you guys forgetting to even be an option.

So...if I'm reading this right, the girl is saying that I can either buy a cracked TM device for 1500, or trade an uncracked one for it. But the uncracked ones only cost 1000. So I'd save 500 if I just went and bought a legit one from any regular shop, then traded it in to her for the upgraded version.

Is that right? Because that doesn't sound right...

(Also I think we've got differing opinions on what "significantly cheaper" means. The Surf TM is a huge discount of 8% )

It's right. They can't exactly go and buy their own in the shops without that fancy trainer license you have, so...

And hey, if that's what you think, you can try and argue it should be less. It's a market, haggling is possible. :P

Oh right, that makes sense. Guess I'll be saving 500 bucks then! :P

And yeah, I'd be up for trying to haggle. What would I need to roll for that? Charm?
