Rotom is more of a possession thing than a fusion thing.
My game:
Hunters of Letrua; Character list
Also Player / Monster stats, skill lists.

My characters:
Tugs Tails, the goblin that was sort of a trapper and wears a bear's tail at his neck, for some reason - Lair of the Mountain King (Run by Thinks)
Alex Sparo, A city boy, poor of sight, who has learned to manipulate people and make the most of what he, and others, have - Trinity Isles (Run by Mort)
Mehriv Turajin, a Noble Dragonborn Sorcerer sent from his clan because he wasn't dragony enough. - The Wandering Archipelago (Run by Thinks)

A.O.E.! A.O.E! Even in your boss battle, A.O.E!
(Sorry, I've had the F.O.E. song on my mind lately. >.> )

Mort, did you roll an Enrage check for Bugsy last turn? Or should I do that now?

What's even the point of increasing that difficulty check when you guys keep making those kind of rolls, anyway.

If it makes you feel any better....before I remembered the Probability Control, I spent about 5 seconds thinking I'd wasted an awesome roll when I saw that first AC check. I was very salty about it

I think Izzy's HP count was off, Mort - I forgot to update it after she levelled from the Gym victory. She had one Injury earlier, putting her at 72Hp. If the Honchkrow only did 20 damage last turn, and the Murkrow 48 this turn, then she should still be on 2Hp (with 3 Injuries).

Wouldn't it total 68 damage and leave her at 4? Not exactly any better, but just to be precise.

Also, Mort, any idea how I should handle Pillow's current hp? He was pretty badly hurt, but now he'll be statted differently.

Don't worry too much, I regularly struggle with basic maths, too. I recently realised I can't even remember my 12 times table quickly anymore. By the time I finish my degree I'll probably have difficulty with addition. >.>

Actually, now that I'm more awake, I'm probably gonna have Kay Intercept the attack regardless of Izzy's Hp. If only so I don't have to chase that damn bird around to get my book back

Dunno yet, Izzy got KO'd before she could throw it. We'll find out when Mort adds in the Intercept outcome

Is that counting in the tick of HP damage you took from shadow sky? Not that it matters, given that you intercepted the damage.

Oh right, I didn't even notice the Tick damage. Thought the Focus checks were the only part of it. Nevermind then!

Hey, I thought the rule book covered this, but I don't see it so it might have been in 1.04, or I'm just misremembering it. So I want to double check before it comes up in a pokemon battle.

But how will Commander's Voice and Go! Fight! Win! interact with each other?

I thought the passage said something about orders that would take a Standard+swift action just taking a standard action instead, but all I found was the foot note for focused command

Code: Select all

Special: If this is used to use Focused Command and
another [Order] that has targets, the second Order
applies to both Pok├®mon you are commanding that
turn. CommanderÔÇÖs Voice doesnÔÇÖt allow you to use
Focused Command as a Swi´¼à Action.
Now because it specificly mentions using a second order, I'm inclined to suggest that it does turn the standard+swift action into a single standard action, but the order applying to multiple pokemon is just an effect from focused command not commanders voice.

Yeah I think that blurb is only specific to focused command. I think it would be just a standard action, yeah.

This reminds me of Don's old PTA game, where you caught that homicidal Super-Banette, Mort. What did you call it again? Dread, or something? :P

On a totally unrelated note, is the Shadow Honchkrow male or female...? :paranoia:

--------------------

As for Shadow Pokemon stuff, I think I've figured out a couple of the mechanics. Shadow type attacks are Super-Effective against those who fail a Madness check, but Resisted by anyone who passes them. If you're replicating the XD game mechanics then I suppose gaining exp or deleting Moves won't be possible. And I'm presuming there's gonna be some kind of "Purification" mechanic, too?

Kay earns 110xp, reaching Lv30 and getting +1SATK.
Bugsy gains 90xp, also hitting Lv30. He gets +1SPD, and PTSD. Do Pokemon get therapists...?

Also, what AC is Shadow Storm/Blast? AC 2?
