Uh, since it looks like Roy didn't get to act, with the Scolipede suddenly collapsing and all, can he smacko the Ratticate instead?

Anyway, for this turn: Alex raises his finger-guns again, pointing at a red hand grunt and blasting him with another orb of Aura.
Aura Sphere damage: d28+10+11 = [23] = 44 WHOOPS THAT'S A D28.
2d8+10+11 = [7, 5] = 33 There we go, that one's right.
Oh, and since I was reminded auto-hit moves can still crit: 1d20 = [20] = 20
Of course. Crit damage: 2d8+10 = [2, 2] = 14
Total damage: 47

"Rock Throw, Roy. Take care of the gunmen."
Moving up a space (Diagonally to get around the scolipede), Roy pulls up a piece of concrete to launch at the gunmen, aiming to catch Grunts 3 and 4 in the blast.
AC: 1d20-1 = [7] = 6, +1 for AP = 7
Damage: 2d8+10+26+10 = [5, 5] = 56

(I can never remember how AOE works. >.> Was it one AC and then a damage for each target, or one damage and an AC for each target? For the moment I've just got one of each.)

Last round

Vortex save in hostage battle: 1d20+2 = [19] = 21

Rawku easily shrugs off the swirling sands keeping him trapped, leaving him only a little sandblasted.

This round

Another one down! Koa turns his attention from the fallen crocodile and bulldog over to the Nuzleaf. He steps toward it, looking to give it a hard shove with a Play Rough! But he trips and just sorta flails in the air a bit.
Play Rough on Nuzleaf (AC 4): 1d20 = [1] = 1
2d10+10+16 = [3, 3] = 32

Rawku, on the other hand, charges the gunmen! Moving in as straight a line as he can (moving N 1, NW 1, N 1, NW 1) he homes in on the grunt way in the back. On the way he picks up a handful of debris and shotgun blasts Grunt 5 with a Rock Blast!
Rock Blast on Grunt 5 (AC 4):
1d20 = [13] = 13
1d8 = [8] = 8

Rock Blast on Grunt 5 - DB 17:
5d12+25+30 = [12, 4, 3, 2, 2] = 78

Rock Blast on Grunt 5 - Rock Head damage:
2d6 = [2, 1] = 3

(81 total!)

Bruce, Drake, Bjorn

The grunts fire again- Grazing shots at Bjorn and Drake again, dealing 23(15) and 19(12) damage!

Bjorn (Presumably, let me know if this wasn't your intention cuz it didn't match with what is going on in full) charges down the hallway, closer toward the grunts... Then hits both of them and the dustox with a powder spray! They are kind of gooped up close in that hallway... But now he's close to them too! Tank also slams into the grunts.

Drake shoots his gun... But misses! He doesn't take damage from the last shot however, as Ghos intercepts and naturally doesn't take any damage.

The drifloon ignores Bjorn for now to focus on the other ghost- Hitting with an ominous wind for 29(27) damage! The Dustox doees focus on Bjorn, trying to poison him, but misses.

Jeremy, who definitely was always there, simply encourages Atom... While Bruce discourages the grunts- They do seem to be far more hesitant now, taking a couple cautious steps back as if reconsidering blocking this passage... As Shadow hits them all with a smokescreen!

Finally, Atom rushed up to the dustox, slamming into it with a psychic-imbued headbutt, dealing good damage!

Izzy, Irene

Izzy looks down the hole, getting a better look at the situation... It seems the "pillars" she sensed are actually... Capacitors? Machines of some kind at least, all filled with wires and breaker switches. The vent system she's coming out of in between what seems to be a cooling system for them, though most wires are kept neat. She could get out between them, with some effort- It is narrow, and there are live electricity pillars to either sides. At the end of one of them, where the hallway clears up again, she spots that grunt- Who luckily, is too distracted by what's going up on front to notice Izzy.

Seeing that the grunt is looking the other way, Izzy drops inside as silently as she can. She tries to get around the capacitors, using her enhanced wind senses to locate a safe spot to dart into. Somewhere out of sight of the grunt.

If that doesn't work, and he notices her, then she just releases Fern in the guy's face before moving to cover.

With that, Bruce runs up towards the cloud of smoke, and giving a terrifying yell, and Headbutts whichever guard Shadow didn't attack.

Izzy, Irene

Rythem fires at the golbat, but only manages so much even with the type advantage... Irene meanwhile keeps up her cheering and debilitating- But it seems even that is not enough as the golbat strides forward, targeting the nuzleaf, doing heavy damage!

Izzy meanwhile, glides down, apparently yet unseen, then moves to the further away end, away from where the grunts broke in. There it seems relatively safe, as long as she is quiet, there only being a small hallway there with no grunts in them... And she gets a better look at the situation... It seems there's three more red hand inside that can't be seen from the outside. Two grunts and what seem to be the leader, that last one apparently seeming to be trying to figure something out with the capacitors. There's also more pokemon there- A mr. mime, a paras and a pancham.

The grunts keep up their attacks- But only one seems to hit, a grazing shot against the ekans. The friendly Nuzleaf tries to strike against the golbat but misses... The pawniard and ekans are more succesful however, slowly witling down the golbat.

The junkrats, unlike the red hand, seem to not prefer direct violence, instead instructing and cheering on their pokemon... With one exception as the trainer who's nuzleaf got attacked strides up, and hits the golbat in question with a pipe- ALMOST knocking it out!

Maku continues being a nice distraction... And breaking open the door! He can see at least one of the grunts in the "back" through the resulting new hallway too...

The aron meanwhile ends up hitting rythem with a rock tomb... Or tries, missing! As the geodude finishes off the golbat, and the wooper fails to hit the geodude in response...

Koa, Haley, Alex

The Raticate chomps down on Max- Dealing good damage! The nurse meanwhile seems to give pointed looks at the headmaster, but otherwise seems to keep standing "guard" in front of the other students...

Jackie hits two of the grunts with a swift- Heavily injuring both!

The three remaining grunts shoot, all hitting, though none hitting anything "vital"... Jackie gets shot twice, for 20(9) and 23(12) damage- Just barely not knocking him out! The last one repositions and gets smacked in the face by the floating rock... Before shooting Roy for 25(4) damage.

One of them also sends out a replacement pokemon- A skorupi.

Max retaliates against the raticate, knocking it out!

The newly released skorupi, and the nuzleaf act- The nuzleaf hitting Jackie and Roy, or at least tries to given it's attack fails to manifest. The skorupi attacks Rawku, hitting him with a knock off for 29(7) damage.

Luna moves closer, putting one of the pokemon to sleep, while Haley moves a bit further and poisons one of the grunts. Koa sadly misses his next attack.

Magnus meanwhile seems to look back at Uyum for just a moment... Before striding up to the asleep grunt and... Simply hunkering down next to him. Waiting...

Alex's finger blasting knocks out one of the grunts! That... Sounds wrong...

Rawku also charges up, and makes to pretty much OHKO one of the grunts! Finally, Roy manages to knock out the final grunt that is still up, or not asleep.

"Someone grab that guy before he wakes up, yeah?" Koa throws out a suggestion regarding the remaining Grunt, as the battle seems to be winding down. "We wanna know what these guys are after!"

Then Koa dives right into the thick of it again. Koa will either keep swinging at the Nuzleaf in front of him (Koa should be in melee with it after the Play Rough) or Disengage and use a Rock Tomb on the Skorupi, the latter only if the bug wakes up this round.
Wounding Strike on Nuzleaf or Rock Tomb on Skorupi if awake:
1d20 = [16] = 16
2d6+10+16 = [4, 2] = 32

(+1 tick damage on Nuzleaf, or -2 damage if on Skorupi. Also generate a Stealth Rock if the latter, near the remaining Grunt)

Rawku follows his trainer's example, teaming up and Stomping on whoever Koa attacks!
Stomp on Nuzleaf or Skorupi if awake:
1d20 = [17] = 17
2d6+10+30 = [6, 3] = 49

(Flinched! Vulnerable for 1 round and -5 Initiative. +10 damage if on the Skorupi)

Edit:
If Haley successfully stylers the Nuzleaf, and the Skorupi is still asleep, Koa will instead help subdue the final Grunt by Disarming him. Rawku will help Roy deal with the Skorupi in that case.
(I don't think it'll matter if the Grunt's asleep, but here)
Disarm on final Grunt:
1d20 = [16] = 16

3d6 = [3, 3, 2] = 8
(AP boost that to 10)

Glancing around the battlefield, and noting that there are only two hostile pokemon left, Alex starts walking over to the sleeping grunt. "Roy, come get this Skorupi. If it wakes up, smack it with a Fire Punch. Good work to whoever subdued that guy. Keeping one in a state where he can be questioned is a big success."

Alex uses Focused Orders.

Tank meanwhile will attempt to swat the Drifloon out of the sky and ground it with a Smack Down.

Bruce, Drake, Bjorn

Bjorn hits a good bunch of enemies with powder snow, dealing some damage to all of them, as Shadow knocks out one of the grunts! Tank meanwhile hits the drifloon with a smack down, dealing hefty damage.

The remaining grunt shoots- Or tries, at least. His shot goes wide of Bjorn. Drake shoots right back at him, but falls short of knocking him out..!

Ghos manages to knock out the drifloon, leaving only the Dustox to act. It uses a confusion on Tank, dealing 27(24) damage!

Jeremy commands his pokemon, as it turns to the last grunt, knocking him out with a nasty headbutt!

Dodging the rocks Rythem spins distancing herself from the flying rocks and closing the gap between her and the grunts.

"All right Rythem Maku, you two are doing great. Just be careful! Rythem we need to pave a path to reconvene with Maku."

Koa, Haley, Alex

Max attacks the Nuzleaf, hoping to knock it out before it can attack- Dealing heavy damage but not quite there yet! In response it counterattacks with razor leaf, naturally not doing too much damage...

Luna stands at the ready, but seeing people deal with their own issues, keeps off from doing anything that could mess with those plans.

Haley recalls Jackie, before trying to calm down the nuzleaf... Sadly it appears that while in the midst of battle, all it manages to do is slow them in brief hesitation..!

"Someone grab that guy before he wakes up, yeah? We wanna know what these guys are after!"

"Hmm. Fine." comes the reply from the head master... As firstly he takes the man's gun, ripping it out of his grasp and into his own- A definite crunching noise heard before the now broken firearm is dropped to the side, and his grasp instead turns to lift the grunt by the collar, off his feet.

"Easy now. This'll be much easier if you just cooperate."

As Magnus was following Koa's instructions, Koa had turned to the Nuzleaf- knocking it out! With that only the skorupi is left, currently still sleeping... It can probably be properly subdued without issues?

"Roy, come get this Skorupi. If it wakes up, smack it with a Fire Punch. Good work to whoever subdued that guy. Keeping one in a state where he can be questioned is a big success."

Seeing the trainers all grouped up at the back, separate from their Pokemon, an idea pops into Izzy's head....

Darting out of the shadows, she slides in behind the commander-looking guy, giving him a cheerful grin. At the same time she chunks a Pokeball over the group, sailing towards the Pokemon by the entrance.

"Hi! You look like you need a nap..."

Snowflakes start forming around Izzy's fingertips as she plays, a hauntingly beautiful melody filling the air.

Meanwhile, Fern appears in the air with a flash of light and divebombs the Pancham and Paras. Hitting hard, she ricochets between the two, leaving them both Vulnerable and Paralyzed!

((A lone skorupi is definitely no threat, considering Roy is standing over it ready to hit it with almost 100 damage. After that a gentle breeze would finish it.))

Approaching Magnus, Alex gives a nod, "Thanks for the help. Did anyone get hurt?" Glancing at the grunt, the young man sighs, "We'd better deal with this one quickly so that we can go help the others clear out the rest."

Once everyone's ready, Alex gives the grunt a slap to wake him, staring at the man with a flat expression, "I'll make this quick for you. You tell us everything there is to know about your operation here, and I don't have the big guy there," Alex gestures to Roy, "punch you a few times. You'd be surprised by just how grisly it can be to have that sort of thing hit a human being. Pokemon are durable, so you don't see much, but if he were to give you a good hit to the shoulder you'd probably lose your arm, you know? Normally the bigwigs would look down on that, but we're in Murkoff, authority has always been a bit weak, and since we're countering violent criminals there are sure to be some accidental injures."

Koa gives a short sigh as he sheathes his crystal sword. That could've been a lot worse, but this is only a momentary reprieve considering all the Red Hand activity still going on around the city.

Koa tries to tap into that mind spell thing Drake cast on everyone. ~Uhh... Koa here?~ He furrows his brow and stares off at nothing, trying to think towards the other trainers. ~Hostages safe. Getting info. How are you?~

After that, while Alex is busy with the grunt, Koa goes around confiscating any dangerous items he finds on the rest of the Red Hand. Weapons are piled up, and Koa pats them down for any more that might be holstered. Pokeballs are piled up, too, after Koa tries recalling all the ones currently released.

"Huh. Wish I'd thought to ask for handcuffs or something," Koa says aloud, sheepishly, as he looks between the unconscious criminals. He glances over to the nurse and headmaster. "I'm gonna call for some backup to help get these punks detained, yeah?" Koa takes out his pokedex and dials his emergency line to do just that. "But there's kind-of a crisis going on, Red Hand hitting places all over the city. I dunno if we can spare the guys to do it for a while, so... I don't suppose you got a place to keep a few punks locked up for a bit, 'til things settle down?"

"Why'd they wanna hit this place anyway? Any idea?"

((I'm gonna assume Haley asks about interrogating before Alex sets to convincing this guy that talking is the best way to avoid a very painful and traumatic experience. :P ))

Izzy, Irene

Rythem gives the softest slap she can, not really helpful in the current situation, Irene simply continuing to cheer on... Mr. Mime staying blissfully unaware of any intruders near the back. Or is he- The creepy mime is suddenly looking about, as if he is "sensing" something... Though doesn't get to act before Izzy suddenly pops up.

"Hi! You look like you need a nap..."

With that Izzy starts to play, catching two grunts, the commander, AND mr mime off guard- Though finds herself a sudden heavy target for the rest of them...

Outside, the grunts seem to notice the internal struggle, but focus on trying to keep people out- Two more shots fired, one managing to knock out the nuzleaf, while another one aims for Rythem for 20(12) damage.

One of the grunts in the back wakes up immediately, but can't act.

The pawniard rushes up to one of the grunts, and starts slashing! The ekans tries to help, but misses.

Fern meanwhile bounces, hitting pancham and paras! The attack is super effective, knocking out the paras while leaving the Pancham heavily injured!

The junkrats, like usual, hang back- One of them replaces their fallen pokemon with a yanma.

The heavily injured pancham turns to Fern, attempting to strike with a karate chop... But missing!

The geodude tries to attack the remaining wooper, but misses- The wooper returns fire, though... Not dealing too much damage, all things considered.
