I would love to change my action, but mostly because of my low accuracy roll, and I think that's kinda cheating, so I'll stick with what I chose to do the first time.

Drake, Bjorn, Bruce

Finally, the trainers initiate attack! As they reveal themselves, almost all eyes immediately turn to them... Though for now at least, they are left scrambling as the attacks come in- Drake starting off with blasting some of the enemies, while Ghos sadly fails his hypnosis. Shadow, too, sadly fails his attack...

Izzy, Irene

Rythem and Irene start rushing in, Rythem attacking... The one grunt, it appears- He's weak! Izzy also attacks some grunts, but near the back... Knocking one out, and injuring the other!

The yanma focuses on the one grunt barely left standing- But misses.

And where the pokemon fails, the Queen decides to take action- Figuring taking out the trainers is most important, she shoots over a spark of electricty toward the grunt- Knocking him out.

The mime tries again to injure Maku with a psybeam, this time hitting true - Dealing 37(40) damage! Maku... Snaps.

Up front the pawniard continues to struggle against the aron, slowly chipping it down, joined by the ekans.

In the back, the one remaining grunt shoots at Maku- A bullet striking for a measly 23(12) damage. The commander joins in trying to struggle against his grip for 24(13) damage.

The geodude finally finishes off the aron- Clearing the way for everyone else to try and push deeper in. Which the junkrats and dewpider immediately begin doing...

((Bjorn has Sneak out - viewtopic.php?p=278594#p278594.
Bjorn Initiative = 23 (Agility Training, mounted) and Sneak Initiative = 22 (Agility Training) ))

"Sneak, take out that Duosion!" Bjorn and Tank rumble over to the Grunt with the pink spot, where Bjorn leans down and socks the guy with an Ice Punch.

Ice punch (AC = 1d20 = [8] = 8 , Damage = 2d8 + 10 + 10 = [4, 3] = 27 )

Sneak takes off at speed along the ground, leaping into a Feint Attack on the unsuspecting Duosion.

Feint Attack (Damage = 2d8 + 10 + 17 = [6, 4] = 37 ) - Super effective!

Seeing that the Mime is the biggest threat, Kay hits it with a Dark Pulse. If it's still conscious, Izzy follows that up with a desperate Air Cutter; otherwise targetting the Dewspider.

Dark Pulse (AC: 14, Damage: 51)

Air Cutter (AC: 5, Damage: 31)

Maku gets annoyed at the buzzing creatures around him, and starts to give the Commander a "hug". Though it's not strong enough to hurt him...yet.

Shifting closer to the danger, Irene sees Maku in trouble,

Hold on Maku help just arrived on the front end, you've got this. Izzy the Queen just arrived so this is our chance!

Rythem takes the chance to sprint towards the friendly giant of a pokemon ready to help.

Irene
Sage on Maku - damage reduction of 11 points for a full round
Moment of Action - Izzy gets an AP point she must use this round.
Cheerleading(Motivated) - Izzy may give up the Motivated condition as a Free Action to increase a Combat Stage that is below its Default Value by +1 CS.

Drake, Bjorn, Bruce, Koa, Haley, Alex

Shadow fires at the leader- Said leader quickly shoved out of the way by his conkeldurr. It still takes the hit of course, doing some proper damage though... Not nearly as much as expected as it slowly turns to glare at the ghost.

Sneasel attacks the Duosion, dealing hefty damage!

The rockruff starts running to join the battle, but can't quite reach yet.

Bjorn meanwhile moves to the closest grunt, the only one in range- But still gives him a nasty punch! Drake for his part moves over and smells pretty, while Ghos fails to strike his target.

The grunts quickly begin to act, starting to converge on the intruders. Some of them are still too far off, and just spend their turns barking orders at their pokemon- But others pull out their own weapons, and begin to shoot... One aims for Drake, a bullet dealing an injury as it digs in for 23(16) damage! Two others meanwhile find themselves engaged in melee, one disengaging and firing a rushed shot at Sneak for 22(12) damage. The final one pulls out a switchblade- Slashing at Bjorn for 18(10) damage. The hooded grunt seems inconclusive on what to do- Almost like he's simultaneously pulling himself in two different directions... Only seeing the shadow ball narrowly miss the leader seems to be enough incentive for them to take some cautious step backwards.

The poliwag can't move close enough to attack- The pikachu on the other hand returns fire to Ghos - Though also misses...

The skitty hits Shadow with a disarming voice for 12(1) damage. Not too impressive admittedly, but all it can do against a ghost...

The general meanwhile, after cursing a bit, immediately dives back into searching through the fallen statue. "God damn kids- Come on, where's-" he starts, suddenly seeming to cut himself off, with a light chuckle and grin.

"Well now... Aren't you the prettiest little thing I ever laid eyes on..?"
he says, his hands seeming to close around something in the rubble...

Bruce wisely stays in cover for now.

The cubone moves closer, ignoring the target it can't hit... Focusing instead. The jigglypuff too has to move closer, but sprints instead.

Finally, the Duosion drains Sneak for 30 damage!

Seems the others are arriving just in time to join the fun..!

...They're joined by Jeremy too. Who OBVIOUSLY went back to check on the others. And didn't disappear or was forgotten about. At all.

Koa comes to a screeching halt just outside the door where Jeremy is. At the sound of gunshots, Koa peeks through the door to get an idea of just what's going on. He'd ask the Headmaster if that smashed statue was the "vault" he'd mentioned, if he hadn't stomped ahead into the fray.

Well, whatever's with that statue, the bad guy with the biggest pokemon seems to think it's important judging by how he's sifting through the debris. That means Koa should stop him!

Koa charges into the room (8m North, 1m NE) and releases Lonaki in the thick of it (under the General, NE of Grunt 4)!

After receiving some orders, the Durant gives a leery glance back at Koa before obliging, swiping at the General with a Metal Claw! There's a chance that fighting pokemon will take the hit for its trainer, so no Bug attacks yet....
Metal Claw on General (w/ Hustle):
1d20-2 = [4] = 2
2d6+10+22+10 = [3, 2] = 47

Quickly taking in the room, Alex tosses out Tyr next to the grunt Drake is engaging with. "Ancient power on that guy, and make it physical." "Give that guy there a good Bite, Tyr."

Ancient Power (Physical) Bite (Grunt ? beside Drake): 1d20+1 = [4] = 5, 2d8+10+17 = [4, 2] = 33

Irene, Izzy

Rythem charges toward the back, joining up with Maku- While Irene joins a bit slower, just making sure to throw lots of encouragement around.

Kay for her own part decides to try and take out the most important threat, the mime- But soon discovers it's part fairy type doesn't make the attack as strong as one could hope against a psychic... Izzy desperatly trying to follow it up with an air cutter- But even that is not enough, though leaving the pokemon in a bad state!

The Yanma rushes to the back, as does the queen, pawniard and ekans- Surrounding the group of thugs on various sides, though none of them seeming to have been quite close enough to also attack just yet.

Seeing the attack from Kay and Izzy come in, the mime decides to retaliate against the latter- Firing a psybeam at Izzy for 40(35) damage, and confusing her!

The grunt attempts to help free his boss from the clutches of Maku- Though his attempt to strike at the giant flying pokemon falls short.

And while Maku is too busy keeping a hold of the commander to do much, and seems uncertain what his masters plan is with him, Fern does not seem happy to have her master assaulted as such, and tries to shoot off a pin missile at the mime!

...Sadly, his effort of loyalty is unrewarded as the barbed shots miss.

The commander meanwhile, seems tired of staying in this one's pokemon grasp- Gathering all his strength in a rather packed punch, dealing 44(33) damage and knocking out the fighter!

As he looks around, he comes to slowly realize it might already be too late though... As the geodude, and the other junkrats also rush toward the back- His eye especially falling on the fact their leader had finally arrived, too. The dewpider quickly attacking her, but not seeming to do a lot against the leader of the group.

Can alex make ancient power physical?

Haley moves twoards the statue as quick as she can (if she can dash and release a mon she will) before releasing Buttercup as close as she can to the trainer and fighting type. Buttercup will get as close as possible.

If both in range: dazzling gleam
Else: magical leaf the trainer. It cannot miss therefore cannot be intercepted

Dazzling gleam [1d20+1] = 15+1 = 16[2d8+31] = 12+31 = 43
Magical leaf possible crit [1d20] = 7 [3d8+31] = 19+31 = 50

As the Mime targets Izzy, Kay immediately swoops over to intercept the hit. Izzy then follows up by strumming off another blast of razor-sharp wind at the annoying psychic fairy.

Acrobatics (intercept): 19

Air Cutter (AC: 12, Damage: 29)

At this point, Izzy notices that they aren't alone anymore. Seeing the cool guitar-lady run in alongside Irene, she gives them both an enthusiastic wave before pointing at the struggling Commander.

"Hi again! I, uh...I think that one was the guy in charge?"

As the commander goes to throw the punch he feels a sudden weight on his arm! While the punch still connects, it doesn't carry quite the same oof to it.

Seeing the presumed target of the pokemon that was hurting her friend, Rythem copycats Izzy for an air cutter of her own against the mime.

"So do you want to surrender peacefully, or does the Queen need to showcase her imperial majesty some more for you?"
While saying this Irene positions herself closer to Izzy in case she needs a quick teleport protection.

Rythem
Friend Guard damage Maku takes is resisted one step further bringing the surviving HP to 15
copycat air cutter accuracy [1d20] = 14 damage [2d6+15] = 7+15 = 22

Irene

Ghos still doesn't feel in the mood for battle but he gently floats towards the leader exclaiming to have found something and attempts to hypnotize him. Drake follows along with Ghos and fires off an energy blast between the Skitty and Cubone.

Ghos hypnotize: 1d20 = [6] = 6

Drake energy blast: 1d20 = 18 1d8+6+12 = 24

Realizing that maybe the hooded guy in the back might be a threat, Bruce calls out for Shadow to cast Mean Look on him. Shadow will move 6 squares up and two to the right, which should put him in range.

Meanwhile, realizing that he is missing out on the fun, Bruce charges in and attacks the nearest

Shadow Accuracy= 4

Drake, Bjorn, Bruce, Koa, Haley, Alex

Shadow moves closer to the strange grunt in the back- Hitting it with a mean look as they... Do not seem pleased.

"Noooooo..!"

"Idiot..!"

"Stupid..!"

Sneak tries to hit, but misses, sadly. The rockruff on the other hand manages to move close enough to get a bead on the sneasel, flinging a rock in it's direction for 29(29) damage!

He gets a little bit of revenge... Though it's by punching one of the grunts in the face, dealing 28 damage.

Ghos moves up, trying to hypnotize... But just barely falling short- The energy blast does hit however, damaging both opponents.

Then all grunts get to act again... Several still out of range, and a couple seem to be intentionally sticking back, presumably to give commands rather than outright attack- But plenty of attacks are still being dished out!

Two fire at Drake, who has foolishly decided to move forward in a position where he is the literal only target... One of them even strikes hard- Inflicting an additional injury as he takes 21(14) and 20(13) damage..!

Another switchblades Bjorn for 23(15) damage, as a final one shoots at the headmaster- But misses.

The hooded grunt seems to have noticed something- Stumbling forward again, though carefully so.

The poliwag remains barely out of range to attack- While the pikachu paralyzes bjorn after attacking it's master!

The skitty moves downward, in pursuit of better targets.

Luna doesn't act for now- Mostly hanging back, in case she seems needed...

Koa wastes no time charging in, releasing his durant in the midst of the enemy! They don't seem pleased about it, though sadly the attack misses...

Haley moves upward, releasing her Roselia as she moves upward, blasting both trainer and pokemon..! Or tries, at least- That conkeldurr does shove him out of range once again, becoming the sole recipient of the hit. It deals hefty damage, at least!

The commander seems to stumble to his feet after being pushed however, only a grin spreading on his face as he seems to be holding whatever it is he desired. The headmaster's usually disintered gaze was now one of anger... And perhaps a good smidge of worry now.

"This... Is Angstrom STUPID? Does he really think I was going to hand over THIS?!" he commands- Holding up what it is he collected.

A pokeball, though none that the trainers would recognize... Coated in a lustrous purple. The headmaster stopped his charge halfway, instead reaching down- Tearing up part of the concrete before slinging it at the leader! As he continued his fervent shouting.

"Come to me!"

In a flash, a shape appeared- Intercepting the attack before it could strike it's mark, though taking the brunt of the attack itself.

...Although the rock smashing against the head nurse's face doesn't seem to nearly do as much as it should. Some words are briefly heard from her, before they are shut down.

"Y-You don't have to-"

"Shut up."

"KILL them."

Almost instantly, her head seems to snap back toward the party... Fighting against that command, clearly- But her hands are already moving...

"...You should probably run."

Boss battle: Bound deity

Jeremy and Isabella, wisely decide to run release their own pokemon, the by this point signature Atom and Max released- The latter immediately engaging with the pikachu, trying to bite down... But missing!

Alex tosses in Tyr- The Tyrunt immediately chomping down! That one grunt is looking pretty bad... Bruce coming in to join the fun, but barely misses!

The conkeldurr, having protected it's master once again does not act... Atom does however- knocking out the skitty! The cubone meanwhile moving closer to hit Max with a bone club- Already injured, he doesn't seem too good after that...

The jigglypuff moves up, trying to put both ghosts to sleep! At least that fails too.

The "head nurse"'s eyes glow... A glow appearing close to her, a pokemon seeming to manifest as out of thin air! Is it..? It looks like some kind of projection...

...Though judging by the way the sharpedo is voraciously snapping it's teeth, perhaps one they should not get too close to.

"Wha-, she's a pokemon? And you-?" Koa asks aloud, giving a sideways glance to the Headmaster. Crap... will Koa need to use the Snag Machine? Not if he can help it, but he tucks the notion in the back of his mind as a Plan B.

Instead this'll be much easier if they can just get that ball back. Koa sends a quick mental message to the other Trainers, urging them to ~'get the ball, GET THE BALL!'~

Focusing on that objective, Koa orders Lonaki to hold for now, before stamping the ground and lifting the remains of the statue up into the air! The pieces begin to glow with a rosey hue, as does Koa's sword, and Koa slams downward to rain a Fairy-typed Rock Slide on the whole group there! One of the shards of stone lifts back up into the air near the Conkeldurr (1 meter North of it).
Fairy-typed Rock Slide centered on Uyum (AC 4):
1d20 = [18] = 18
2d8+10+16 = [4, 3] = 33

(Flinch! Uyum, Grunt 4, General, Conkeldurr, and Lonaki lose 5 Initiative for the encounter and are Vulnerable for a round)

"U-uh, sorry!" Koa shouts an apology to the Nurse and Lonaki (who takes 6 damage and is also Flinched). "I'll make it up to you later, yeah?" Then he'll sweep around to the group's other side (moving 3 meters NE, 5 meters N), to get closer to that suspicious hooded Grunt.

And if Lonaki was giving a leery glance to Koa before, now he's really giving Koa the stink-eye. Nonetheless, he uses the opportunity to lash out at the General with a nasty Bug Bite (or a Metal Claw if the Conkeldurr's still up)!
Bug Bite on General or Metal Claw if Conkeldurr is up (AC 2 or 3) (w/ Swarm + Hustle):
1d20-2 = [4] = 2
2d8+10+22+5+10 = [8, 7] = 62
2d6+10+22+10 = [1, 1] = 44

(AP boost to 3 if using Metal Claw. The General (and Conkeldurr) is Vulnerable, so this should hit.)

((Sorry for the delay, been in Fiji! I actually meant Bjorn to attack the Grunt next to the Duosion [which I thought was the pink one] but all good, will ride with this!
I think the Rock Throw against Sneak would have been Super-Effective, if thats the case the Glacial Ice comes into play, which would give a damage reduction of 6 [based off of Bjorn's Surival rank.] ))

Bjorn passes his paralysis check (Bjorn Paralysis Save: 1D20 = [7] = 7 + 2 = 9) and lashes out again at the Grunt next to him with Powder Snow.
(Not sure if this hits the pikachu also? Line 4. Will use +1 AP if needed.)

Powder Snow: AC = 4; Damage = 22

Sneak winces and rises from his knees, raking the Grunt next to him with Metal Claw.

Metal Claw: AC = 17; Damage = 32

”Don’t fight this! It’ll help!” Haley moves within 6m of the commander before using her stylus on the head nurse!
