SA: Croanuk is quite please with the discovery of these new fish. It would normally be best to be cautious of any sort of poison that doesn't seem to do anything, but considering the near immunity that those on the island bear to poisons, he is not overly concerned. He collects as many of the blowfish as he can manage and retreats to his bar, where he begins work on extracting the poison from them. Should anybody wish to take part, he will offer them a couple of fish.

SA:
With the crew in a good mood Voto decides that its time to take the ship and search the reefs of the iland, for shipwrecks and treasures!
Using the corrupted sand to breath under water they set out along the islands coast, diving, and bringing up anyting fun they can find. (of course if any ships happen to pass by, plunder takes priority)

skill used : Diving
(possibly sailing, middle management, and captan as well, depending on what happens :P )

I haven't heard back from the people yet that I was supposed to, so we might be in the clear and no hiatus. For now, no hiatus but things are still shaky. I'll try to get back on track with one post a night. Probably no post today because it's too nice a day out, but definitely one on sunday now that I have a general idea of how I want some things to go...

Gremp's SA-ing assistance with a "container" to hold down Gynnidarcia as well.

Or so I thought. >_< Lost track of time, then I lose five hours worth of a steam game that failed to autosave. AGAIN. Calling it a loss. I have the framework done, at least (Did that last night; some teasers include an impending "First Change", Gynnidarcia making some noise, and some slapfighting by Zenkal and Lloth). It'll be completed tomorrow for sure.

Depending on if I get an email back tomorrow from some people I've been working with, I'll also know whether I gotta go on hiatus to focus on this project (character design and writing several page backstories for about a dozen characters, which is a lot harder than it looks). If that happens, I'll simply say I can't focus on this and that at the same time and put it on the shelf for August and come back to it in September.

Alright guys, I -do- have to put it on hiatus for a month, as much as I don't want to. I just got word from the people I'm talking to on another project and my entire focus (starting friday) needs to be on that. It's not paid work, but my writing passion is calling me and I'd be an idiot not to do this.

So now my intent is to come back at the end of August and we pick it up right here, because I don't want to let you down with all this buildup (despite me completely winging it). I'll return to the forum when the "project" is done. For now, adios.

Yeah, it's a bunch of little things on top of this big project. To be honest, writing a sea-based adventure like this wasn't terribly fun for me to write. I had to kind of force myself on the last few entries. So that's part of it. I'll come back to it at the end of august if I have time available, depending on how easy these character designs are to bang out and if the other people involved don't run screaming. I tried five times on today's attempt (a human knight with a complicated backstory) and it didn't work, so I'll try again tomorrow..
