we're not currently in dire straights for money right now, having just started the game. I would think this could be done at any time in the game....and it has potential for being worth more later....for instance, what if you sold it to the worm moon ship who would then later resell it, then no one would know where it came from...spiked or otherwise...i think jumping to sell it so early would be a bad idea.

Yeah, I'd hold off.

Btw, no one else is spending ws on their actions. just wanted to point out that its available. Now we shouldn't spend a ton on everything. However, if you're doing something heal related you should as we'll get double effect. Just wanted to make sure people remembered this feature, since it seemed like people were not.
Fortunately, you can combat this with Wyvernwyrm Soul, the "power" granted by Zenkal the Unshaken. For every point of Wyvernwyrm Soul used on an action (to pour you heart and soul into something), it will boost resolve and stop any form of corruption from manifesting. If used accompanying a healing effect, the effect is doubled. Each point of soul used will slow Lloth's timer by 1 and cut the Wyrm Timer now accompanying things by 1% (to a maximum of 25%). Driders and to a lesser extent Drow by their nature are "corrupt" in Mother Nature's eyes (thanks obama... I mean, Lloth), so even if Lloth doesn't act, if the Wyrm Timer hits 250 on its own, the Wyrm will and the Garou will probably be the ones called upon to put whatever the Wyrm makes show up (and the creatures that led to the Wyrm acting!) down.

Wyvernwyrm Soul has other uses, but you'll need to research Zenkal a bit more to discover them...

No. They always find an antidote. In fact, don't even trade the True Grog to them as they will modify it for the same controlling purpose.
I'm still reading shifters.

wait wait....the issue at hand here is, we've made a clear-minded grog...that makes you drunk, but keeps you clearheaded.... we simply want another grog, similar to that one, but one that will give you the worst possible hangover instead.... I'm not sure i understand why we're trying to poison it and/or why would there be an antidote at all?

the remedy to a hangover is sleeping it off...

I'm beginning to feel as though it went and got overly complex. In a...if it ain't broke don't fix it kind of way.

Also, for spending 3 tweaks on pro, I feel like we got the bad end of the deal when we lost it.

Yeah, a lot of good on paper very bad in practice sort of things. I'm doing the best I can though. I think I'm doing good so far.

If I got nothing that needs doing, I wouldn't mind watching you work and listen to you ramble to yourself. For some reason I always like the behind the scenes processes.

@badge. WS seems to combat Lloth, so next time you do something like that you may want to spend some? It doesn't hurt. Also it might be a good idea to try and use it to escape her current notice of you. Then again doing that may piss her off. Its hard to tell since we don't know too much about it yet.

@Aegis this is worded in such a way that I'm not entirely sure
if the Wyrm Timer hits 250 on its own, the Wyrm will and the Garou will probably be the ones called upon to put whatever the Wyrm makes show up (and the creatures that led to the Wyrm acting!) down.
Am I right in thinking letting the WS hit 250 is a bad thing?

Yes. The Wyrm Timer is a -Bad Thing-. Ask Nikohl. Having a group of Spirals assault your home isn't fun.

So for the captains (and to some extent everybody), when do we need to spend a SA to do something? Do we have to spend a SA whenever we want to move the ships or anything like that, or do we only use SA's & FH's when we want to do something especially cool?

The latter. You don't need to spend SAs to specify travel, such as to the Grand Shark's Demise, or even to one of the other lands. When someone says they spend an SA to go "hunting", I'll just make something up if the SA is successful and put in something to encounter. If you're just traveling from place to place, I'll roll 3d10. Only on triples will you encounter something in that case; it's a big ocean. This particular 3d10 roll won't be listed.

You do realize rolling 3d10 and only causing something to happen on triples has the same effect as rolling 2d10 and only causing somethiing to happen on 00, right, Aegis? Unless, I suppose, the third die is to determine what happened.

Certainly is the case, though, as the first die has the simple effect of determining what number the other two dice have to roll as rolling 00 already has that number set at 0. 1% chance either way.

So if someone were to use Wyvern points or whatever they are (I still don't fully understand them) on the herbs Loth poisoned, would that save the plants? Maybe it would apply to the 'double healing effect'?

If someone wants to try it, you might as well spend them. We DON'T want to hit 250.

► Show Spoiler
we still have 3 unclaimed ships (probably 4 as soon as we loot the captured one)

Loth has a loot of hope about the Drow... yet lets them get smashed up on the reefs. dose she want the remaining 32 to grab control? Or is her plan to stop them leaving the island?

The timer is at 3, we won't reach 250 any time soon.
I think we need to spend some SAs to research the wyvern points before we try to use them in another way.

For some reason I was thinking if the resource hit 250 we were screwed. For some reason I never noticed the timer. Silly me.
