“Alright, Ah’ll tell ye why she had magic in ‘er blood at least....”

The officer shakes his head and says,

"No, no need for that anymore. Over, take these three to their camp and get them ready to move. I will send Jinnings and Merce in a moment. They will escort them back. Anything you wish to say?"

Hin gives Kroshav a rude gesture and Jolly laughs,

"Ya, that's going make things better jackass."

((If Kroshav doesn't have any more to add they are led away and presumably packed up and moved out.

Also can I get 5 d20s from Jaq, Lurn or Kroshav please for the next few days of travel. Anyone doing anything special otherwise?))

((You already confirmed the victim did have magic in her blood, but it was residual from spells and not inherently magical.

Hin flinches but doesn't say anything before they are lead back to their tents, now the only ones still up in the camp.

Jolly smiles uncertainly and then asks as they walk back before gathering their things and joining the procession out of town,

"Which one is Tyr again? Was that some sort of curse?"

On one of the rests, after Jaq has had some time to trance, he will take off the ring of temperate lies and will instead focus on attuning to the necklace of adaption.

He will also make sure that Kroshav and Lurn are aware of the magic items that he had id'd at the temple to see if they want any of them (I forget if I did that).

The wand of lesser magic missile, I would want someone who doesn't have a great ranged weapon to have that. If neither Lurn no Kroshav will take it, he would offer it to Jolly.

She can cast mag’c missile many times, if nay for’v’r. So we need somethin’ thaprevents her from seein’ or make a target outa someun that can take many hits. Ah can imbune a pers’n with drag’n breath n allow ‘em ta breath acid o lightnin at a close range.

If ye got any vials of acid o thund’rstones tha would beh good. If ye got anythin’ tha can obstruct ‘er visi’n would be great too. O blind ‘er. One blind’d someun should hold ‘er down so we can get her handcuff’d n blindfolded. Maybeh have a rag in her mouth too, just in case.”

@Everyone with Jaq, the loot page on the sheet is up to date so give it a look for the identified items.))

After leaving Narmyr things fall into a pretty standard routine, walk all day then camp and repeat. When the party reach Tall the town is mostly deserted but is intact. A few soldiers greet your wave of refugees but it doesn't appear that the locals have returned yet and none of the decons are from here. A question about this reveals that nearly everyone in this wave of decons is from Mys and Yrke, having all been conscripted and put in squads at the same time. The next village of Uppner is equally intact and nearly as empty, though a few of the homes are occupied. Following a rather cold night, the group meets a large number of wagons and walking people heading east. They turn out to mostly be the residents of Tall and Feltan returning home, and are happy to do so. Mixed in among them are those returning to Narmyr who are far more sombre. A brightly colored wagon with a gnome on top brings up the rear of the procession.

Between Feltan and Timmer a nasty late summer storm blows down from the mountains that pours rain lights up the sky with frequent blasts of lightning but no one gets struck. After a wet slog of a day the party arrives in Timmer late at night, recognizing its wooden palisade. The next day the rain has stopped but the warmth of summer doesn't return under the overcast skies leaving many shivering in damp clothes. In Skogsur Indra invites everyone over to her mother's place and, much like Celus promised, she is a great cook. While there Jesp and the rest of their team swing by to say hello and wish you. You all get to sleep indoors that night, some even on beds!

The night inside makes the nip in the air more evident the next morning. Despite the cooling temperatures the road is increasingly busy, mostly traffic heading east but some riders from the west as well. The decon's arrive in Grann as dusk falls to find a mostly empty camp for refugees and a small detachment of soldiers that look to be preparing to pull up. A woman approaches the officer leading your wave and asks some questions, as you near you see the familiar face of Cassie (Grey's sister).
((Okay now everyone is in the same place. I had to hand wave 4 days of time for Joe/Cary to get things to line up!))

"Okay, but to you think she will be coming back? And how would we be able to bind her if she can just disappear like she did?"

Outside the tent Joe can hear the sound of voices as a large number of people start banging around outside.

Ghram looks over his shoulder,

"Sounds like another wave of conscripts has arrived. I best go see if I am needed for anything. Thank for your help Joe."

He gives her a nod and departs.

((2GP well spent, to actually have a non-shredded backpack again. As for the loot, seems like it's just valuables that wouldn't be entirely wasted on Lurn. No real desire to claim any of it in particular.))

Joe will atart isentifying everything she has, starting with the ion stone.

(Ion stone, mirror, belt, immobile stick, blueish ring, and magic figurine...Wow I didn’t realize how much stuff she had!)

Cassie turns from speaking with the officer, a sad look on her face to look for who is calling to her.

She looks at Kroshav a long moment before recognition kicks in,

"Uh...hi! Kroshiv was it? Ya, my pa is around here somewhere. Probably over at our tent with your friend Joe. She was in a fight with something and almost didn't survive. Hasn't woken up yet but we are taking care of her."

She looks over those moving in and spots Jolly, Jaq and finally Lurn, her hand going to her mouth in a gasp.

"Your arm! My gods, I am so sorry."

((Ioun stone of awareness, Peeking mirror (connected to two other mirrors within 500 miles shows the image of what the other mirrors are facing), the immoveable stick comes back as a piece of a larger construct that Joe can't figure out from just this one part, Ring of Wise Repairs (+1 to wisdom saves, may cast the mend spell once per long rest), Lurn has the magical figurine after Joe was going to let it run away and he ran it down.))

"Ves took off to find ya, must of been a week back? She didn't run across ya?"

She looks worried.

"Grow a new arm? Well...that's something. Hope you can be good enough soon."

"I can go find pa, where you going to setup? We are just over here. Most everyone has went home, we were just waiting for Joe to wake up. Pa was getting anxious to head home and see if Gray maybe was there."

She waves to a wagon and a couple of tents before moving that direction herself. The camp is mostly empty now but there are signs there was a sizeable camp here before.

(Yes, if someone wants the ring of Temperature Lies, it's available, I know it also probably has some protection from cold or heat, but I think I'll have Jaq wear the Necklace for now, instead. Joe has ID now? We'll have to have her look at it)

Jaq looks very pleased to hear that we have found Joe, until he finds out she has been injured and Ves has left over a week ago. "Lurn, let's go check on Joe and she how she is doing."
