Out of Print

The Hyper Halfling's RPG Club is a hangout for adventurers waiting for their next game, and DMs (Deity-Managers, if you like) in the midst of building worlds. We like lists, here. Also maps. Also stories of characters, games, adventures, epic saves, and death-defying (or not) acts of bravery and foolishness. All are welcome. Please wipe your feet on the mat, grab a drink and a snack, and get comfy.

Out of Print

There are two oddball games that I love, but have to practically beg my groups to play. The first is the Classic Marvel RPG. It's intuitive, has charts that make it so I can train a monkey to play, the Karma system combines XP with Drama/Action/Fate/whatever points in a way that makes sense, but... my players hate that character advancement takes forever, even though that mirrors comics accurately.

The other one is the White Wolf Street Fighter game. It encourages a nice balance between fighting and story, to tell the truth, especially since you have to partake in tournaments to advance your character up the ranks. My group is split on it, with about half loving it, the other half looking at me as if I'm on crack and not even wanting to give it a try. Do y'all have any games that you love that are out of print?

Wow, not even any posts about Werewolf: The Apocalypse, or Vampire: The Masquerade? No out of print games missed by anybody?

Those aren't really "out of print", since they have the recent 20th Anniversary editions. They're changed versions of the games, but I don't think they count as being different games per se, so it's only the older editions that are OOP, not the games as a whole.

My mistake. Still, there has to be OOP games someone misses. AD&D 2nd E? West End Games Star Wars? Anything by Eden Studios?
