You are amazing, Forest. I wish I had 1/4 of your ability.

Wow. I hope these super-complex pages aren't wearing you out too much. They look fantastic, though. You have a great eye for lighting.

Okay. The shading here is fan-bloody-tastic.
It makes me want to go camping under the stars, but that's not a bad thing.
That 3D head in the bottom left is nearly jumping out of the frame, just brilliant.
(And I didn't spot any errors in the underlining art here! [Yes, yes, I know. ])

color updated.
This was a doozy. Wanted to give a real sense of a chaotic battle, but make it so that the foreground, middle ground, and background fights were clearly separated. Used different coloring lighting and ambient shading to do it.
I was worried that my monitor may be a little bright, so after I was done, I did an overall brightness correction. I hope those with darker monitors can see the colors clearly.
(Also, nice to get CelineSSauve's approval).

Wow. I still had to cross my legs when I saw this page. Amazing art though. It's awesome.

I don't have a particularly dark monitor, but I did get a sense of the different fights going on there.

I absolutelty love the tiny details and attention to them. What has gotten my attention this time is the severed head in the lower left corner of the page. Particularly the fact that the middle finger of MinMax is raised slightly due to helmet's raised part.

Shading is awesome. Also Forgath with Axe of Prissan acquired a dash to his G on helmet, so indeed he is lawful good.

On the same Forgath's helmet, I have just now noticed that while he is missing a horn on one side, the other has a wing/fin instead.gamecreator wrote:Shading is awesome. Also Forgath with Axe of Prissan acquired a dash to his G on helmet, so indeed he is lawful good.

Which is to say, he's missing a wing on one side and originally had both wings.

No... It looks like a horn is missing. Which means the Axe's armor also effected his helmet.BuildsLegos wrote:Which is to say, he's missing a wing on one side and originally had both wings.

Here, it looks the same as the wing side.CelineSSauve wrote:No... It looks like a horn is missing. Which means the Axe's armor also effected his helmet.BuildsLegos wrote:Which is to say, he's missing a wing on one side and originally had both wings.

Re: March 24 2013 Update: Solo Round
But when he is climbing the tower and fighting up there (when you can see the sides of the helmet and not the top, it clearly shows that the helmet wasn't damaged down the side with the missing horn, despite the fact that the "wing" extends down most of the helmet.spiderwrangler wrote:Here, it looks the same as the wing side.CelineSSauve wrote:No... Unless the wing is only attached at one point, and the feathers run alongside the helmet.

Re: March 24 2013 Update: Solo Round
Hmm. I had not considered that. It's possible, so long as it's flexible and not actual metal (since I don't think you could have the single fixed point for a metal fixture?)spiderwrangler wrote:Unless the wing is only attached at one point, and the feathers run alongside the helmet.

Re: March 24 2013 Update: Solo Round
I'm picturing it like this...
just with the wings bent down more. Fixed in the same spot as the horns, with the feathers sweeping down alongside the helmet itself.

Nice catch! That's awesome - I'm continually amazed at how consistent Thunt is with his references...filip wrote:there is a nice GS vs MM reference
