This. 100% this.

I think it's a bit wierd he got to keep his gear (boots, armor, rock glove) instead of being wholly "reborn".
He wasn't wearing armor when he died. Just pants, boots, and the rock glove that's fused with his arm. He lost his pants in the resurrection. So does that make this panel full frontal nudity?
I mean, seeing how the grafts on his face changed shape into something more symetrical, I would have thought the shoulder/right hand stuff would have been "evened out" a bit, it you catch my meaning.

Sidenote: Its nudity. Can we call him Streakgath from now on?

You'd think the INDESTRUCTIBLE beard would give it away, given what happens to Kore's.

Oh, nothing will quell those few that will still insist that Kore is future Forgath...

If he'd turned into Kore, I think I'd be done reading the comic.

He reminds me a little of Alphonse Elric, which makes me consider that maybe this is a magically constructed body inhabited by Forgath's soul, rather than a reincarnated Forgath in a weird new body.

I wonder if he's kept his connection to Herbert.

The I.M.E. beard might suggest as much, given that his every spell is a prayer.

Well, he could be wearing a mask. If not, how will he eat, and what will he eat.

Interesting that he has the one horn again. My guess is that, in order to bring him back, the kliks need to mentally picture what he should look like. Since they originally saw him with his armor and rock hand, that's how they (or most likely, Salt) pictured him, resulting in this mess.

Edit: Or maybe it's because of his IME? The last few pages showed the one horn.

The memory-of-armor idea doesn't work with the helmet long since crushed by Kore by the time he met the kliks.

I'm thinking Klik-revival derives from the yet-to-depart consciousness to make shape.

His design clearly had to be this elaborate in order to defiy the claim that he'd end up easier to draw.

As for Salt interfering, I also think it's the inexperience thing, though maybe that's more of a needless risk than certain disaster when the inexperienced Klik is assisting others who have more experience?

Forgath became the ultimate neckbeard, how did that happen?

He even out neckbeards Nero. That is probably a crime. Let's have him murdered.

When reexaming this page I noticed something really interesting: The boots are clearly Wood-Klik material. It also looks like there are patches from the other two Kliks: with one of the legs and a patch on the chest being Ward's colors, and the non-mace arm being Salt's colors. I have no idea what it means I just find it interesting.

Good catch. I looked at it and noticed bits that weren't from them though. The red on the right side of his face mainly. But I went back, and those are the Klik colors his original body had - red and bluish on his face, and the yellow patch on his right side. There might be others I missed, it was just a quick scan.

I wonder if he’ll be able to change shapes as kliks do, and if he’ll have a positive and a negative.

Only metal kliks can shape-shift, but I bet that orange bulge could expand into a nice shield if nothing else.

Looks like a decent shield already without having to expand. Provided he keeps is fingers in.

I hope it's a hardened body part, otherwise it's no different than blocking a shot to your arm with .. your arm.

What about stone-kliks? :)

Just curious; what about Buzz's mouth-tentacles when in the warped state? Is that shapeshift or just a side-effect on the klik going haywire?
