We've never seen a klik actively chase their negative. If you saw an open vat of splashing acid wheeling down the street, would you chase after it? That it's just angry at the thing that nearly killed it is a way more reasonable speculation.

quite the situation here. If you were up against two people, and one on them was carrying your one weakness, they're the bigger threat. You kill them quickly, and everyone else can wait to die at your leisure.
