Especially if the mouth in the tower room has closed after a wrong key has been picked, how can any team come to the finish, so that the team can leave the MoM?
Suppose in a different run-through, one team reached the top of the tower. They take the CORRECT key, and the tower rises up towards the mouth. As they reach there, another team reaches the top of the tower (yea, it is close to the ceiling, but not that close -- yet). Not thinking clearly, they just want to stop that correct-key-team (CKT) from getting away with it, so the second team intentionally grabs a wrong key, while the CKT is climbing through. The mouth closes, but perhaps the CKT does indeed get through (maybe lose a leg or foot, or not, but they get through).
So, a wrong key was selected, the mouth did close, yet there could still be a winner.
Thus, what MinMax did is really no different -- and a good reason why the Maze should NOT be designed to reset just because a wrong key was selected.
