As I recall, the explanation from Thunt (and bear in mind this is DnD, not IRL physics logic) is that the sword can't be acted on by anything but MM, but it acts normally when it tries to act on something. For example, nobody can move it but Minmax - not gravity, not a parry, not Forgath hanging off of it, nothing. But if MM tried to stab the wall, then the sword is trying to act on the wall so it's blockable.Krulle wrote:Oblivious doesn't go through things like butter...
In previous fights, e.g. Not-Walter, it also did not slice through things. (this and the next page)
It also did not go through the floor when it had been created link.
It may be connected with Minmax's expectation of fighting against a normal sword

Re: 28-03-2016: MM lives in the moment.
I actually just made an account to discuss this.
Does anyone else notice the similarities between the Goblins/MinMax and their enemies? There's a big "human sized" one with a sword, four smaller ones, one with more demonic looking features and a sword, one with a staff, one with BIG horns and an axe, and one unarmed.
Please tell me I'm not the only one to notice this?

You're not.
It was already discussed in the previous page's discussion thread and the one two pages ago.

Well there are probably plenty of people who didn't notice it at all. So you're ahead of them. I probably wouldn't have noticed it if it hadn't been pointed out.

We don't mind.
Sometimes such messages get lost, and when someone points it out again we get a lively discussion about it.
Please point out whatever you find interesting. :)
