Sheer amount: 60 cards.
Background: fantasy city, so yes, imaginative thus complex....

Actually, it's 120. 60 city cards plus another 60 dungeon cards.
I'm looking for an artist to draw top-down views of fantasy location cards. Something interesting to the eye.

I've got the location cards written, so I'd be telling you the theme etc of each card. Let me show you some images...

If you're interested, it's approx 60 cards (that take place in a dungeon) and 60 cards (in a fantasy city). So... a lot of work.
The artist he was talking to said that would take a year to do.
Well as soon as you pointed out that it's the kind of job that takes a year, I realised that to get it done sooner, I'm going to have to push myself in ways that'd be quite illegal to push an employee. lol. I've already started a bunch of 'em anyways.

Right, I read those. I was just wondering about the complexity of the individual scenes. Like if there were a lot of specifics, varying important details, or if Generic Background Dungeon/City would work. Just looking for an easier way out where there probably isn't one.

I was correcting Krulle's number and decided to throw the rest in.

I saw one card on the stream that looked like stone pavement inside a dungeon, and another that was a dungeon pit trap. Neither seemed too complex, but I didn't get a close look at the detail. I'd also bet those were two of the easiest ones, which is why they're done already.

He already rejected the idea of having multiple artists do a few cards each. He wants the game to have a unified look. So cutting back on the details probably won't happen, either.

Danielle said during a rare appearance in the stream chat that they'd been discussing a few possible ways to reduce the workload, but declined to specify further.

"Reducing the workload" has never been his style.

Definitely not:

I'm getting really curious about the game, it seems fun.

It looks like Thunt posted a complete set of the adventurers here. When you scroll down you get to the cards. He posted them in the context of preparing more "Improvised Role Playing Games" on his Twitch channel, but the cards look like he simply took them from the stack of G:AR cards he made.

Yes, the IRPG cards use G:AR cards as the base art. But I don't know if that's a complete set, I don't know if they're current, and they don't have any of the actual stats and text. They're just handy art for him to modify for the livestream game. He draws character cards as a break from actual work, and the game is supposed to help keep him entertained while working.

I do not mind, I just wanted to point out his collection for those interested.
Also, their quality is rather good, compared to most Twitter uploads...

As moderators I feel like we should reply to your question, Reish, but alas, we don't have any information to give out.

You would probably be better off either writing an email to THunt, or ask (better yet, but you might not be part of that platform) via Twitter.

I think you posted in the wrong thread... ;)

edit: this refers to a post made by Glemp, which our fine mod Gathers has moved to the correct thread. This has left this post hanging without sense here, so I added this explanation.

Oh...dear. Flagging to see if the mods can move it.

Moved the post in question. But... please note for future reference: unless I'm mistaken, you can delete your own post and just re-post them in the right topic. No need to wait for a moderator to do it.

Once someone replied, you cannot delete your own post anymore.
You can while no-one replied yet.

To some degree, yes.
If you had noticed first, you could've corrected without the error bein visible.
But even then, you could've modified your post and create a new one in the correct thread.

Anyway, have fun, and thanks Gathers!

[Edit] since no-one replied to your post "over there" or my quote of yours, I removed my post in the correct thread. [/Edit]

Okay. Then I remembered it wrong from waaaay back when I was a normal user (I think that was at least 2 forums ago, too). As a mod, I can (theoretically) delete any post (not just my own) anytime. Thanks for reminding me how it works for everyone else. ;)

And you're welcome. :)

Pretty sure not yet. He has just added the diplomacy thing.
So now new balancing and printing cards....
I did not join the live drawing last night, where he wanted to discuss the rules of gameplay. [https://twitter.com/Thunt_Goblins/statu ... 3268765698].

Mission creep.
What will he add next?
