Ready now, just haven't had much free-time lately and what free-time I've had has been spent on other things. Nevertheless, I'm ready to get back into it.

Or should I say: "GIMP back into it?" ;)

Like I said, I did plan on doing the missing tasks and continue with the latest ones. But the last weeks have been too busy. During september I am gone for a long holidays, so do not expect something from me. I still would like to participate and also run the class I said I would tutor.

Does this mean that you'll be participating after September (Should I add that on the list)

School starts, so I'll have less time for it. (I know you all have much more difficult things to do, like work or studies, but for me it's still a big deal.)

Of course. If soldier or water biologist can find time, school boy should find even more of it, right?

Please don't ever put this forum above school, but if you can hang out here and keep playing that's cool. It's two weeks per lesson anyway so hopefully that's enough for most folk?

...Now this is a difficult matter. Technically, yes. I'm back from vacation, and I should technically have the time to be able to follow the assignments.

That being said, last time I thought that I found myself into so much work and trying to keep up with both this, school and my own game prove too much as all three were suffering underneath it as I finally decided to make some decisions.

While this might not be the same case for a while, part of me doesn't want to take the risk. And another part of me also wants to take things slower for a while, and just focus on running one game instead of trying to juggle many at once.

Another factor I suppose is that, with the original god school I had no idea how gimp worked, which was why I needed the tutorials badly. But as the god school came to an end I continued experimenting on my own and discovered how it worked on my own- Which narrows downs the lessons, for me, to only drawing practice- Which is a good thing on itself, but with how hectic my schedules tend to shift, not something I think I want to put too much time in I'm afraid.

So yeah, I think I'm permanently dropping out. I WILL keep following the lessons though, and providing feedback whenever I can. I just won't be doing any more assignments I'm afraid.

As Thinks says.. do not put this place above school, we understand when you don't have time, and if you miss lessons and such, no biggy! this list is to know if people will try, only try, to be part of it. RL is and will always be more important, school is no exception here...

About the 2 weeks, I do believe it should be enough for me most of the time, and if RL interferes I'll tell you guys and gals :)

m0rt, sad to see you dropping out, I know the feeling of it being practice, so that I can understand, but more importantly your schedule and not wanting to take the risks are understandable.
I'll put you on the no-go list and just hope to see you around :)

Last year forum (another one, not this) pretty much took over all my free time, including learning time and buried my aspirations to be good student, like in the beautiful times before I've got Internet. So I won't make this mistake again! And don't worry I'm not crazy enough to run away from lessons to hang in the web.

Funny, I asked board administrator of that forum I was in before to permban me, so I won't ruin my life completely. And after a month I became active here...

I'll try to do my animated gif assignment as soon as I get my internet back. (See random thread.)
I don't think I'd do the other assignments, though.

Make a "Possibly, not sure yet" or something and put me there. I honestly don't know if and when I will be able to return.

okay... so... we have right now
3 players/students: BeanDip, Borys and me.
and 2 Teachers: Thinks and me (do my lessons are much later)

Bob is undecided so maybe 4 students.
After September we will have:
4 students: BeanDip, Borys, Nerre and me. (As I read Nerre's post that is)
and 5 Teachers: Arles, Looks, Nerre, Thinks and me (do my lessons are much later)

And m0rt is out :(

So... yea... not as many as I'd hoped...

As long as we have excited, capable students then I don't reckon that the number should matter too much. :)

Speaking of which, I'm still in but pain and the health insurance company have been interfering as of late.

I think that's fine :) I'll try and participate in as many of the future lessons as possible too, so you can put me down as half a student if you like! I'll also cover any missed lessons that come up (though I'll need 2-3 weeks prep time).

Hey folks! Now we're nearly into October I wanted to check if this list is still accurate and whether a mid-Oct restart is still reasonable for you all?
