For my two levels, I'll take another level in improved guarding (that's three now, one was never listed) and one level in improved tackling.

If it's going to be 3vs3, I'll sit it out.

I don't get the point of the resources thread. It's just copies of the first few posts of this thread, which will always be the first few posts of this thread. And the recruitment thread is a sensible place for people to level up. Besides, we've already got enough trouble keeping the character sheets up to date. Putting them in two different threads is just going to make a huge mess.

You don't seem to get my point and the problem. I want the ressources to be in the ressources subforum. It was ment for this, much unlike the recruitment.

Forum Games - Recruitment: posts only neccessary until the game started, then they are obsolet.
Game Ressources: Rules, math, np, npc and monsters lists, stuff like that,that are required and updated while a game is running.
Forum Games: The game threads itself and the OOC threads.
Completed Games: Games that are over.

Currently we are using this thread for ressources and recruitment and OOC, which is a bit much and might make the huge mess you mentioned even worse. I am only trying to sort things out a bit, so people find info easier in the place it belongs to. This thread is only a bad makeshift workaround for using the systems that were developed in this forum over the years. I don't know why you talk them down instead of approve them.

It did not always get updated in here, and often people and gms did not link to it properly. It is a shame that posts cannot belong to a group, cause else several people could edit them.

If you want to sit out the 3vs3, Krulle gets in. I had already rolled the teams, and he was the 7th.

I see the combined thread as sensible in this case. Actually, it's more that I don't see the first few posts as game resources. They're the background of the game, the rules of the game, an example of how the game works, and the signups. That's all recruitment stuff, so people know what they're signing up for and we can keep track of who is signed up. And, as it says in the topic, signups are always open.

I think it's best if we have the character sheets in one place, have one person in charge of keeping them up to date, and make sure that person does update everything before the next game starts. Half the trouble I had with the character sheets at the beginning of the last game were because Moose had done some of the updating and I'd done some of the updating and I missed seeing that he hadn't finished updating so I had to go update again. The sheets you copied from my post in this thread are up to date as of that post, but, as has been pointed out, people have chosen more feats since then, so it's not up to date. Creating a new thread is only going to make that problem worse.There's a lot of bookkeeping that goes into this game, and we need it centralized.

I agree that I don't see the point either. Its more work. If someone wants to do that work, I won't say no, but Its pretty much the same to come back here as there so I'm usually going to come back here, especially since I'm already back here involved in next game, lvl ups, etc. I prefer one stop shopping.

I am the 9th, so it is only 8 on the list.
And Wears and then Burns wrote they don't want to join. I updated the list for Krulle instead of Wears, but I have to redo it now for Mortimer instead of Burns.

Really, would be far less work if you wrote things like (ONLY missions) in advance instead of (I would prefer missions). Or (I don't want to play games of type X).

The problem is that to specify all the different variations you want/don't want, you'd end up with things like "only 5v5 or more or missions, don't want 3-way battle" and "only 3v3 or mission or 3v3v3". Trying to sort through that and figure out which people are up for which would be a nightmare. Unless you made 5 different lists (1 for each game type) and had people sign up for each to see which more people would be willing to do. But its a pain no matter how you do it though.

You made a mistake. It should be Krulle's Dreamer on the player list, not Mines Flags.

Blue loses its strategist and gets another defender.... But Dreamer is also level 5.
And I concur, no PM groups necessary, as we can all PM up to five people at least,
2 teammates plus GM makes 3 addressees... So we're okay on that front.

That's why I don't strategise.
I simply run forward and tackle my way through. Don't know what to do with the flag, though. So I pee against it.... >:-D

In this instance I really think a separate resources thread would only serve to create confusion. For this game in makes sense for the sign-ups and the rules to stay in the same thread, so that's how it's going to stay. I've added a link to my google drive with all of the CTF resources to the first post in this thread. The only thing I ask is that anyone running a game try to stick to a regular update schedule and try to adhere to the posted rules unless otherwise stated prior to the game starting. Of course, that's only a request which you are free to ignore, but I would appreciate it if we were able to maintain a certain level of consistency to this game.

Yes, krulle should be in instead of wears. Had to change it twice and used the first version for the second change, not the second. Will correct it this evening.

So the blue team has a lvl 5 def instead of strat.

Only on my cellphone, so i could not read all.

Moose, please update the player list. I just had a hard time to prepare the first post cause it was hard to find correct char sheets. :(
I have no problem of you deleting my post in the ressource thread, but then at least you should update the chars in this thread. Now the updates I gathered from Wears and posts inside this thread are lost and I have to do them allover again.
