I'll look into it, unfortunately I have to deal with some non-forum related stuff right now...

Would it be possible to allow certain individuals to use Tabs command. I think it could really help game creators not have huge long posts. For example: In Civ 5, if Aegis wanted to, he could (instead of using tons of spoilers) use tabs in place of spoilers.

I would like to use them in OoTS, but I take no offense if that isn't possible.

My thanks great ones.

I believe game masters are capable of using Tabs, so Aegis should be able to use tabs if he wanted to since he's in the relevant group. :)

I'm asking more for myself really, I was simply using him as an example. :)

Start a game, join the "game masters" group, and you are good to go. Why else would you need tabs? :D

Tabs?

How does one join this "group". :paranoia:

EDIT: NM. FAQ to the rescue!

And now to see if Tabs will serve me better than spoilers...

(Can Tabs be used by those viewing the site by phone? I know at least one of my Players does that.)

They require javascript. So it depends on phone software.

So, now that we have a recruitment sub-forum games location (which is awesome) could we now create a sub-forum location for OOC Chats. They aren't games, they tend to clutter the games forum because people use them a good bit and I think If they had their own home that would be awesome.

But, whatever the masses want too.

I honestly don't want an subforum for OOC threads. Checking currently there's only 5 OOC threads. That's not THAT many, and honestly they tend to drop far quicker than other threads unless the players actually need to discuss things OOC. I think it'd be more of a hassle than a profit. Maybe not for people who don't play in any game that has an OOC thread, but players who do would have to check the OOC thread individually each time. Not to mention another subforum would take up more space on the top of the page.

That is just my opinion though. I'll happily concede with what the majority opinion would be.

I agree with m0rt on this, I will not be adding an OOC forum.

gamecreator, in the future please be sure to report spam posts. I actually caught this one by myself before seeing your post here, but if you had reported it other moderators would have seen it sooner. We're pretty good about getting rid of spammers quickly if you let us know through the report button.

Thanks,
Moose

That button is so tiny I didn't notice it. Thanks for pointing to it. And I speak about ligtening moderators' work. It's not easy.

Can we get "Ask BotWalter" back?

I can reregister him, but I need to find the time first. I'll register him right now, but I can't promise to get back to the questions frequently. Unless someone wants to play BotWalter for me >_>

Yes, I'd like to have a link in the quote back to the original post.

I have found a mod for phpBB 3.0.11 for this: https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/mod/ ... nk_(qpbl)/

There still seem to be some minor issues with it: [edit]the issues are far more than minor....[/edit] https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/mod/ ... 9/support/

Another possibility would be a direct code change: https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtop ... &t=1849585

Ignore my wishes as you see fit. You're already doing a great job!

If forum spam was a serious problem on this forum I would consider it... but so far I just haven't seen it show up as a major issue. Sure we get a spammer every few months, but that hardly seems like a large enough problem to justify adding a major and potentially unstable mod. I will bookmark that for future reference though in case it does become an issue. Thanks!

Would love to see...

A dice system in the forums!
I looked around for a bit, though I might be blind, and couldn't find anything like it or a good place to post it. Basically, if there is a feature you'd love to see on the forums, no matter if it is feasible or unrealistic as hell, post it here! I can't make it happen, but we can sure have fun with the notion! No longer relevant, thread moved and merged with proper place.

I have one small request.

As the kickstarter for the goblins card game is close, I think we need a forum (Or maybe a sub-forum) for the card game. To discuss about it.

Could we get a subforum, in communities or bookclub or elsewhere, for writers to post original stories for review, critique, compliments, fun, etc? You can decide where it fits best but I'd just like to request it, please :)

There does seem to be some demand for writers wanting to post their stories lately and I'm not certain that any current forum would specific enough for this. Bookclub comes close but seems to be for talking about books and stories, not posting your own.

Should/could we get a forum for goblins related handicraft and/or fanart? (Maybe that would cover BeanDips request, too, as long as the stories told would be related in some way about the comic...)

As some of you may or may not know I made a poorly locked treasure chest for Paul's Birthday, and by now I posted how I went about transforming a plain wooden box into something a little more special. (In case you want to see it: here.)

I also know that Paul made some slippers resembling goblinscomic characters. (You can see pics of the done items in the art contest thread.) I dunno if he would want to make his WIP (work in progress) pictures public, too, and post some description that would enable others to emulate his work, though.

I also don't know if there are people who would be interested in seeing this, in the first place. But maybe someone would like to read up on "how to" and try for themselves.

I'm bumping this. Now we need it even more because the kickstarter is really close.

I don't think that the kickstarter needs an entire subforum of its own. I can't foresee any situation that would produce more than 10 threads for that topic... and I seriously doubt it will go past 5 topics. Discussions relating to the kickstarter should go in the Discussions forum. I feel that the threads will get more traffic there mixed in with the comic discussions than they would separated off completely. Should I be proven wrong I will happily revisit this decision.
