Yeah, not really possible at the moment - I think all of us are gonna be preoccupied with this fox first, and since that's on the way opposite side, there's not really the room to achieve that- Not without scaring away at least another rabbit as things go...

Well it is Easter, so if you guys want I can hold off on updating until tomorrow. I'm likely to be out of computer range after about 4 or 5 anyways.

Not going to tackle a tree, so Dreamer defends C4, then walks north (D4) to look what's hidden behind the tree/between the tree trunks. [edit]Dreamer also looks upwards if he can see a puma or other animal in the tree (eagles eat rabbits too).[/edit]

BTW, at F0 is another rabbit, we need to walk straight north, then tackle it from behind, but I assume we need to be quiet for that...

Given this some extra thought we might never be able to approach rabbit from above and chase them south due to restricted grid size. I think we will have to chase them length wise. This means when we see a rabbit appear. We need to ascend in two groups three squares either side of it so it doesn't see us.

As for moves I guess i will
1st Cheer Mines on the first turn.(assuming a tackle).
2nd guard

I think we could box him in.

With the others potentially chasing the fox north west, Righteous will tackle up to e3.

Foxes are known for being sly. Boxing him in sounds best. I'd be inclined to move to D6 and then E5. But I'm willing to try the tackle if that's what works for the group. So far, though, it tackled when cornered and then ran away. I'm not sure how likely it is to go to D5.

Pat, good point. The grid isn't square, so lengthwise gives us a better chance. But, as you say, best we deal with the fox first.

Well the way I look at it we can cover e3,d3,c4,d5, and e5 between the 5 of us. So unless it goes straight north then we should likely get it. Whether we win the tussle or not is another question.

Do we need to kill the fox? There's no food to be gained, although in future there might be more rabbits spawning....

If we find one fox every 10 squares, then there's a problem, but one fox until now cannot be a reason why there are only few rabbits/food shortage...

It bit me! It MUST DIE!

Also, it might not the be the solution to the secondary objective on itself, (but it might) but I doubt that regardless of that, the fox would be put here without a reason.

Anyways, not too sure what the best thing to do might be... Sprint towards the square above E3? Move D3 tackle E3..?

The fox will also scare away rabbits, making the main objective harder.

I'd be wary of sprinting in case it goes for D3. Besides, Chuck is already tackling E3.

... Except Chuck needs to stand up, doesn't he?

There are too many ways it could go, and we're not even sure what its goal is. I'm going E6 to E5.

Chuck doesn't need to stand up. That's only if you get pinned down.
