Whatever fits the GM best.
Next round or do we need to open all fields (and thus prevent any random chances of hidden mines or combat groups still left on field)

How about in the interest of quickly wrapping this up we do this: Since there are 8 undiscovered squares and 4 active players, we each pick 2 squares and act as though we have circled out for a couple rounds... If we do this I pick C5 and D5 as I already called C55.

Sounds like a good plan. I will let you do one tile now, ignoring all movement rules, as they are widely spread over the map. :)

Goblinsweepers - Space Odyssey (Turn 48 & 49)

OPERATION: SPACE ODYSSEY

Mission 1: Asteroid Slalom
Your commander wanted to sneak into the enemy territory through an asteroid field, but after three scout ships exploded (I2, J7, E10), he finally understood that this might not have been the best idea in his long career. So he send you, the anti mine squad, to remove the danger to the fleet and cleanse the asteroid field of mines so the fleet can pass it. Be careful, the shipwrecks are not safe, the mines that destroyed them could have been replaced in the meantime. The enemy is know to have access to stealth field technology.
Turn 48+49

Information:
- each tile with a number also has an equal amount of red dots in the upper left corner, just in case you cannot read the number cause of the player avatars.
- your blasters have a range of 3 and deal 1 damage (diagonally = 1.5 tiles). You automatically defend yourself, but do not automatically aid somebody. You can shoot while moving.
- you have 5 health. Lost health can be regained by doing a repair action, restoring 2 health per turn.
- if you can at least fly 1.5 tiles per turn, you can move diagonally (diagonally = 1.5 tiles). If one of the adjacent tiles, which you would have to pass with none-diagonal movement, is an active mine not marked with a beacon, you have a 50% chance to trigger it.
- if you can at least fly 2 tiles per turn, you can pass several tiles per turn or move at 50% speed and still do an attack, repair or place-beacon action.
- better spacesuits might have better values.

Actions:
As suggested by the players, this is a double-update:

Blastwave continues relaxing.
Comes-to-late stays on H6, repairing his ships for 4 hp. His suit is now fully repaired.
J. Carter continues relaxing.
Ka's Splaat is deployed on C5 and uncovers a 2. He then flies to D5 and uncovers another 2.
Starshine flies to J9, then K10, which are both already explored and safe.
Sy B. Netic stays on K6 and places a warning beacon on J6. Then he flies to K5, towards the still unexplored K1 (hope this was ok, had no second move for your char)
Turbo Sonic continues relaxing.

Double update? What about my flight to I7???
Or did you break the second move due to the appearance of the larger enemy ship? (I see other second moves missing, so I assume it's that.)


Anyway, Comes-too-late flies to I7. Then diagonally to J8, then diagonally to K9 and starts firing on the enemy ship on K11 (should be a 2.5 distance while having 3 range). (3-fold update?)

All fields have been explored, the minefield has been secured, except for the last hostile ship still fighting with Starshine. But as the fleet only was waiting for your group's clearance regarding the mines, they synchronously warp in and make short work of the last enemy.
You successfully completed this mission and return to the mother ship, where the next mission is waiting for you! (See recruitment thread)

I cannot seem to find that thread? Did it get pushed far down?
