Satisfied that he had found a worthy group of adventures, the old man leads the group to the large house on the hill, located on the outskirts of the nearby human village and leads them to the front door. The old man cautiously opens the door and shuffles the little goblins indoors. "Have fun" he cackles, before slamming the door shut behind them.

"Fun? I don't like the sound of that."
Remedies opens the drawers on the little tables, checking them for useful equipment. If she finds two or more of any kind of equipment, she shares it with the others. If she finds a key, she will try if it fits to the door on the left. (I assume we entered through the second door from the left side, right?)

Seeing as they've just been pushed into some ones home Forges thinks it at least wise to try and announce themselves, who knows what weird wizard protocols they might have.

"HELLO??? is any body here? Mr Felix... Other adventurers...."

Expecting silence he steps on the sofa to look out the window to see what the old man who hired them is doing, if he laughing, this maybe wasn't such a good idea.

Laughs walks over to the fun looking portal thing on the far end of the room, and examines the yellow markings on the gray ring, taking care not to lean over it into the Yellow Beams of DeathÔäó.

Remedies the Pain looks through the drawers and finds .3 gold but little else.
Forges for Food shouts loudly at the big empty room and hears no reply. He can faintly hear a sound coming from beneath his feet. He climbs up on the couch to see where the old man went, and though he could see the path winding down the hill toward town, the old man was nowhere to be seen.
Laughs Creepily examines the strange thing on the floor. The markings appear to be archaic symbols that he doesn't know. Crudely drawn on the front is the word UP.

Senor Costa Fluctuantes heads to the right looking for lovely ladies, but is sad to find only a large barely furnished dining room.

Laughs follows the green goblin that went into the other room. He examines the stuff on the table, and as long as nothing seems overly threatening about it, swipes them.

Hmmm...that's weird. I hope this isn't one of those quests where out employer has forgotten he actually is the wizard he's trying to find."

Having thought he heard a sound from below his feet he puts his ear to the ground and listens and to save time he will face in the direction of the sofa in case he can see anything under it.

"I have the bad feeling this is one of the quests where the employer actually just need some test subjects for something and disguises getting some as a quest." Remedy answers.

"Let's test what that thing does!" Remedy suggests and pulls out the drawer, throwing it onto the platform. If it cannot be removed from the table, she instead shoves on of the tables onto the platform, being careful not to get on it herself.

Forges for Food wonders aloud about their predicament"Hmmm...that's weird. I hope this isn't one of those quests where our employer has forgotten he actually is the wizard he's trying to find." . Having thought he heard sounds, he slowly lowered himself down and pressed his ear to the floor. He can hear muffled cries coming from below him. Looking under the couch he sees nothing but more carpet and a few springs which stick out at strange angles.
"I have the bad feeling this is one of the quests where the employer actually just need some test subjects for something and disguises getting some as a quest." Remedies the Pain says with a discouraged look. He attempts to remove the drawer from the table but finds it solidly stuck. Frustrated, he picks up one of the small tables and heaves it toward the platform with yellow sigils. The table disappears in a flash of light and a loud THUNK can be heard upstairs.

Laughs Creepily follows Senor Costa into the next room and swipes a pewter cup and pewter plate off of the table. They look like they would shatter if you were to drop them.
Because Senor Costa Fluctuantes was in the room first, he called dibs on and successfully nabbed the sharp fork off of the table before laugh grabbed everything else. Although it is sharp, it looks more like a tool or utensil then a weapon. He looks behind the wall hangings but find nothing and he then peels back the thick heavy rug.

Just to be sure, Remedy repeats the test with the other table.
Then she asks Forges "Did you hear anything below?"
After his answer, she walks over to the doorway to the next room so everybody can hear her, and informs everybody "The platform in the first room moves things up one level it seems, I tested it with a table. What did you find in there?"

Answering Remedy Forges head to the door that is closed and tries to open it (just to make sure it is locked as it does have a key hole ;) )
"I know what you mean Remedy, read a book once that was all about a evil wizard who lured adventurers to his dungeon just so he could use them in some demonic spell, course the story ended with the adventurers tricking him......As such It definitely sounds like someone crying, Must be cries of pain or help, the're normally louder than whimpering ones. Unless its like a giant or something, That'd be cool haven't seen a giant but i hope its not demons, not ready for that. Have you guys found anything yet?"

"Not much... just a table and some dishes." Laughs tugs a bit on one of the tapestries... not that it seemed that they were going to have to fight their way out of the house... yet... but that rod it was hanging from looks just about right for a goblin sized staff...

Tests the security of the tapestry, if it seems that yanking on it may dislodge the rod, Laughs will do that. If it seems too secure, he'll assist Costa with whatever it is he's found on the floor over there.

Senor Costa Fluctuantes tries to open the secret door to no avail. There are no finger-holds, no openings and no hinges.. Laughs offers to help, but seeing as how there is no way to open it currently, his help is unnecessary.

Remedy walks into the right room and takes a look at the door. "I wish we had a knife or something similar to use as lever to open that. Did you find anything in here that might help?" she asks, not knowing about the fork. "Maybe one of the tapestry bars might do the job. I will help you."
She also puts her weight on the tapestry, ready to dodge the bar if it falls down too.

"Thanks, Senor!" she says, taking the fork, but not going to the trapdoor yet. "Let's pull this down together first. Maybe we can use the bar then. I doubt the fork will be enough to lift the trapdoor - if it does not bend or break first - and I don't want to squeeze my fingers. If we can create a small gap with the fork and then stab the bar in, we would even have some leverage on the trapdoor."

Forges for Food looks through the keyhole and sees a bedroom on the otherside, there is also a chest of drawers beside the bed. After looking through the keyhole, he walks over, sits down on the couch and fishes through the cushions. His hand grabs something and as he pulls out his prize, he finds a dirty lollipop.

Remedies the Pain asks for a utensil, how convenient that Senor Costa Fluctuantes has one, which he gives her. She then helps Laughs Creepily pull down the tapestry.
After giving Remedies the fork Senor Costa Fluctuantes feels a warm feeling inside...is this what being in Like is?
With Remedies help, Laughs Creepily yanks hard on the Tapestry, pulling it from its mounting brackets.

After a further look, Senor Costa Fluctuantes realizes that they won't be able to open the trapdoor using any tools, perhaps there is a lever or button somewhere in this house.

Both goblins skip out of the way as the tapestry falls onto the table. Celebration happens.

After finding out the fork won't work on the trapdoor, Remedy gives it back with a smile and "Thank you." Then she pulls out the bar of the tapestry. Not the worst kind of weapon for a mission.

"Let's pull down the other one too, and if there is nothing, we should roll up the whole carpet." she suggests
