Re: Civ V OOC: All Drow have a little Evil in their Hearts

Post by BadgeAddict » Thu Dec 12, 2013 1:57 pm

oh, and i should mention kida, if you would have spoken up against me killing the Driders, and/or if there was public outcry against my action...i wouldn't have done it..

But no one said anything....not you, not anyone. So you only have yourself to blame for not trying to convince me to not do what i was doing.

The thing is Kida...a wish is so powerful, that you could be a demi-god, or an all powerful wizard, and yet you are essentially wasting your wish to make us all drow and kermit specifically into a drider. That says to me that all this, is just you trying to get some kind of vengence for something that you blame me for.

If fact, I'll go one step further and say that all of your anger is at me...So i ask that you change you wish to hurt only me, instead of everyone else, who have done nothing to you.

Well to try and lighten the mood a little in here. I personally am excited to see how both of our wishes blow up in our faces.

I'm not angry.....in fact, I've been trying to attain some kind of peace since we started this game. I suppose now we'll just see how it all falls into a pile.

As I mentioned in the game thread, if my choice of race is taken away from me retroactively by a single player throwing a hissy fit, I will be leaving the game.

This isn't an attempt to make anyone feel bad, nor me stamping my feet until I get my way. Just a statement, which I will hold myself to and be held to, since I've made it in public. A "game of choices" where my most important choices are made irrelevant or null and void by another player is of no interest to me.

In addition to everything that's been said already I am curious just what you hope to accomplish with your wish.
Let's say you get it; and then what? What has anyone -including you -gained from it?

And to your accusations of Badge supposedly "genociding" the drow: He specified that he will prefer peaceful negotiations and will only use lethal force as a last resort.

I think its a awesome wish. 100 and 1 things that will go wrong with it, including the wrath of loth for someone ells creating her people, and a lot of races (including horses) soddenly ending up in drow bodies
Really Alaen, dont defend badge no offense meant badge! But you do tend to make players want to kill you :p

yeah....i know what im doing has a huge fail potential...and im sure Aegis will write all of these with an enourmous upward curve....but...Ehlonna may come back to power faster..thus aiding us...which is awesome.

You know... fail or win, as the story goes, I think Aegis will give this enough writing that it will be a win, if not for our characters, at least for us :)

Narasimha: Seriously, it was the plentitude of spirits in the area which saved us. Stop giving Ehlonna all the credit.

Of course, nobody believes her due to her porcupine fur.

So... Can we talk a little about what to do next...
I have several small ideas... but I'd like to hear you guys first.. (OOC, IC I don't think I would listen so much right now, I think my trance is a Do or Don't state)
This is a great chance for us, not only with Ehlonna but with ever good/neutral deity and any spirits of good will to.....

Sure, talking seems great....Conversion was successful and we now have a whole bunch of centaurs, though im confused as to why they haven't become apart of our tribe yet, or if that is even an option.

If we can do anything to bring Ehlonna back into power quicker i think this would be beneficial to us as she would then be able to do the "Bring Aid thing"

OOC I very much support getting Ehlonna to full power. As far as short term plans I think we should focus on killing those hydras since they seem to be a huge local threat.

I don't think we really want to trade the power to make controlled lycanthropes away to anybody, especially if they're hostile towards us.

Agree with Dave there.

Hummingbird is a bit too self centered to care much about Gods until they get all up in her business, however she is essentially chaotic good and is a forest/town type based creature, so can probably get behind the whole Ehlonna thing.
