Chopper takes his hatchet from Worker 3 and goes to water all his trees and help them grow faster, ordering the two workers to use the saw to keep cutting the tree.

Vote Worker 1 and 3 use the saw to cut lumber

FH + 2 XP: Seeing the anvil is done Katch starts to finally work on the sword, using his Hammer, the iron, an emerald shard, a bit of wood and some of the lion skin, he puts all his effort into making this a beautiful (in the awesome way) sword, he does not talk to Hgon while working, this requires all his concentration.

While working he thinks of the tales of legendary swords, how they were told to possess magic qualities. swords as "the rightful judge" and "The ever sharp" is especially on his mind. he also thinks of the few times he has seen magic, the rare times when another mineling has been seen to possess some magic ability.... and then been dragged away by the Slave masters or guards, never to be seen again by his friends!

Year 2, month 8, week 1:
"All plants and similar things grow x 2."

Events:
- the seaweed continues to grow, at least where the branches of the tree don't obstruct the path of growth.

Bob:
Bob reaches a little dome and a air bubble just in time to gasp for air, cause even with a protection spell, you should not breath in lava. Ash keeps following him and licks his foot. He also is starting to feel hungry. In the little air pocket, he finds a mushroom hanging on the ceiling. It is glowing faintly. Seems the rocks and air have kept it save from the heat and lava.

Chopper:
Chopper takes care of the trees and waters them. He spots movement down the obsidian covered mountain flank. Are those hobgoblins? They seem to have problems getting up, but it will be only a matter of time until they come up.

Kach:
Kach plans to give his best to craft a sword for Hgon this week. But something is wrong. Knowing he needs 2 iron but only has 1, he goes to check on worker 2. Why is he fishing all of a sudden. So Kach runs to the mine and mines the second iron himself. Then he melts both iron and pours it into the sword mould. This did not go as planned. (I did not substract the FH and XP, try spending them next week again)

Mint:
Mint turns the 4 fish into 12 most exquisite dishes of cedar planked salmon after he made the cedar from some goat milk. Where the f is everybody! The food is getting cold! I won't serve cold food! Come here and eat up, you donkeys!

Tar:
Tar continues to shear another goat with Zauls help, while Zaul feeds it to accustom it to shearing. They collect 2 wool and talk a while about making ropes out of wool.

Zaul:

Worker 1:
Worker 1 and 2 work the saw together, cutting up 8 blocks together and gaining 32 lumber.

Worker 2:
Worker 2 is not happy about being ordered to catch fish. But he obeys Choppers order and borrows a spear from worker 1. Despite not having done fishing for a long time, he manages to catch 2 fish.

Worker 3:
Worker 1 and 2 work the saw together, cutting up 8 blocks together and gaining 32 lumber.

Hobgoblin Hgon:
Hgon trains a bit outside with a stick.

Discoveries:
Mint discovered food (cedar planked salmon): feeds one goblin for this week and the next.

Information:
- 7 constructlings eat this turn (5 players, 2 NPC). Worker 2 eats this turn. The hobgoblin eats. 10 food is consumed.

Chopper goes to get some of the food Mint made, thanking him. "Hey guys, there are some hobgoblins slowly making their way up the mountain. The obsidian seems to be giving them trouble, but we should do something about that..."

Chopper gains new insight into building with wood, spending 10 xp to gain Carpenter 1

Chopper than takes his hatchet and some lumber and begins constructing wooden spikes, using some of the more bendable branches from the tree that lash the logs together, like they did to make the steps on the ladders.He constructs all of this to the right of his trees, with the tops of the spikes pointed outward. He makes as many of these spikes as he can, decorating their little home with the spikes to look more like a hobgoblin fort might look.

Gamecreator, I'm unsure that we'd want to continue shearing the goats at the moment, us being out of food for taming purposes. I think we're going to need to restock before we continue, and I could use some suggestions. I guess mining for iron would work, seeing as we're rather low on it at the moment,.

Year 2, month 8, week 2:
"Monsters and animals might multiply."

Events:
- Another little goat is born.
- The fish release a lot of eggs.
- You hear strange sounds from the lions far up the mountain.
- The hobgoblins still try to climb the obsidian edge. They try to give each other a leg-up now.

Bob:
Bob climbs after the mushroom and eats it. It tastes aweful and he feels a bit sick, but at least he is not hungry anymore. After a while the sick feeling is gone. After that, Ash licks him again, and Bob continues up the left stream. It bends slightly upwards.

Chopper:
Chopper eats from Mints special dish and feels very sated beside the excellent taste. Then he uses his hatched to turn some of the tree branches into wooden spikes. He gets 4 sets of them, enough to cover 4 blocks.

Kach:
Kach melts the sword workpiece and this time produces a fine result. He starts to hammer it more into form on the anvil. But he does not know how to get the emerald shards attached to it. He will have to think about that.

Mint:
Mint catches 5 fish this week, as they are less careful after they laid their eggs for some reason.

Tar:
Tar joins worker 2 and also mines 1 iron and 2 construction stones.

Zaul:
While he cannot remove a full block of obsidian, he mines a few shards and studies them. He cuts himself in his hand for 1 hp. Zaul then eats from Mints special dish and feels very sated beside the excellent taste.

Worker 1:
Worker 1 and 2 work the saw together, cutting up 8 blocks together and gaining 32 lumber.

Worker 2:
Worker 2 is glad to be allowed to return to iron mining and mines 1 iron and 2 construction stone.

Worker 3:

Hobgoblin Hgon:
Hgon helps Chopper with the wooden spike production and increases his output by 2. He asks Chopper where to put them.

Discoveries:
Bob discovered food (bioluminescent mushroom): doesn't taste good and makes you feel a bit sick, but better than starving.
Chopper invented wood spikes: defensive spikes, cover 1 block, requiere 1 block of branches or 2 lumber.
Zaul found out that obsidian edges can be very sharp.

Zaul leaves the emerald in the house and heals himself back to full HP. He searches for a wedge-shaped triangular obsidian shard to use it as a spear head. He mines more obsidian if needed.

FH + 4 xp now (2XP last round and 2 now, did i regain a FH or did you not remove it?)
Kach continues to refine his work, figuring he can attach the emeralds with help form the guard (the thing that protects the hands from other blades) by hammering a piece of the blade close to and under the guard a bit deep and then place the emerald there with tree sap and the guard to hold it in place. still thinking of how to embune the weapon with mystic energies! maybe if he thinks of the purpose he wnat the magic to have? hmm. He tries to think "Cut clean, Cut fast" over and over again as he works!

"Set them up in the tunnel below these trees if you can, make it so that getting through the tunnel would be extremely difficult for anything larger than a goblin. Use your best judgement for size. Also, spotted some hobgoblins coming up the obsidian, it's taking them awhile. Will probably need to convince them that you're in charge here so they'll hopefully just leave us alone."
