Constructlings (Year 2, month 5, week 3)

Year 2, month 5, week 3:
"25% bigger chance than usual that a monster appears."

Events:
- both fights keep going on.

Bob:
Bob decides to begin a stuntmen career and jumps into the lake to help the others fight the big fish.

Chopper:
Chopper collects the remaining pine cones, then he notices that nearly everybody is now fighting the fish together, so he jumps to attack. Worker 3 and Mint receive 1 damage each, but then Zaul scores a good hit with spear. The spear in the fish allows the goblins to controll the fish a bit better, so it cannot escape when Chopper jumps in and deals a lethal blow with his hatched with a lot of force from the jump. He notices that getting the pine seeds wet was maybe not a good idea. Now he might have to plant them or they have to eat them this turn.

Kach:
Kach asks Worker 2 to take over for him, then he climbs up into the cave Bob had found. When he spots the new, brown material, he mines only 1 block as it took him some time to get there. It smells a bit like ashes but also a bit like scorched wood. Is this coal, the stuff the orcs put in the furnances sometimes instead of wood? He gets 4 briquets out of it.

Mint:
As there are no fish left to cook, Mint wants to go hunting new ones. He sees the others fighting the large fish, and joins them. Worker 3 and Mint receive 1 damage each, but then Zaul scores a good hit with spear. The spear in the fish allows the goblins to controll the fish a bit better, so it cannot escape when Chopper jumps in and deals a lethal blow with his hatched with a lot of force from the jump.

Tar:
Tar and the hobgoblin keep fighting the lions. The hobgoblin manages to stun one, Tar to injure another. But both receive some damage, enough to make Tar feint. The hobgoblin grabs him and jumps over the lions on his right, trying to climb up, away from the lions. He is bitten in one leg, but manages to escape with Tar still on his shoulders. Then the lions cease chasing them and retreat, with two of them wounded and one stunned their fighting spirit is not as high as before.

Zaul:
Zaul continues to fight against the fish. Worker 3 and Mint receive 1 damage each, but then Zaul scores a good hit with spear. The spear in the fish allows the goblins to controll the fish a bit better, so it cannot escape when Chopper jumps in and deals a lethal blow with his hatched with a lot of force from the jump.

Worker 1:

- you discovered a new kind of fish, Luce (equals 18 food when cooked, larger and stronger than normal fish, eats normal fish)

- 7 constructlings eat this turn (5 players, 2 NPC). Kach eats this turn. The hobgoblin eats. 10 food is consumed.
- Bob now can learn: stuntman and mountaineer.
- Tar is down to 0 hp and cannot eat while unconscious. He needs to be nursed back to health.

Zaul brings fish back into the house and extracts his spear from it. Then he makes a handle and assembles a pick. In addition to his spear, Zaul takes a pick, 3 seeds and 1 seaweed and goes up to meet the hobgoblin.

Votes:
Workers 1 and 3: help Zaul with moving big fish and return to fishing.
Worker 2: continue mining iron (and any stone necessary, there is no need to waste that).
Mint: help Zaul with moving big fish, add 2 lumber to the furnace and start cooking the fish.
Hobgoblin: bring Tar to a ledge near goats.

Year 2, month 6, week 1:

Bob:
Bob jumps down on the obsidian, which is very smooth and hard, but it also got sharp edges where it shifted and broke while cooling down, or where tuff rocks were embedded. He does not get any falling damage, but he got cuts worth 1 hp from the sharp rocks. At least they prevented him from falling down the next edge. When he carefully goes closer, he sees it is higher than what he just jumped down. If the obsidian would have been all smooth, he would have just slipped down and maybe dropped to death, as he can see that the obsidian field keeps going down the mountain all the way down to it's base.

Chopper:
Chopper swims to the easter shore and plants a tree there. There is only enough space for one, so he still has 3 wet seeds. As he has to eat anyway, he eats one of them. Still, 2 are left.

Kach:
Kach manages to mine 8 briquets and still get back to the first room before the week ends. He proudly returns with 12 briquets overall, enough to feed the furnance for a long time. He puts one in so the others can cook the big fish.

Mint:
Mint and Worker 1 and 3 move the fish to the furnance, where Mint cooks it after Kach refired the furnance. Then everybody eats luce together.

Tar:
The hobgoblin manages to bring Tar down to the first room. He puts him down and tells the othes what happened and that he has no idea what to do with him now. Obviously he lacks the skills to nurse him back.

Zaul:
Zaul turns one lumber into a handle for the pick head and finishes creating another pick. Then he packs up items into his backpack to go to Tar and the hobgoblin, just when they come down.

Worker 1:

Chopper saves the other two to be eaten later, swimming to the big pine tree and he start chopping at the roots. He plans to take out the roots, then chop the side facing the mountain so it falls that way. He finds his skill with cutting wood to be vastly improved from before.

Kach makes a new mold, this time a rectangle for a hammer head, a smiths hammer, he fills it with iron, he uses one SA to make sure this is a good and sturdy tool.

"My hobgoblin friend! I feel you have really proven that you are trust worthy, And when I come back, I wish to make a Blade in your name will you tell me what it might be and if you have a title or profession? to show my thanks for you saving one of my brothers"
(brother as in brothers in arms)

I he is sure he can, he will throw his pick so that Chobber can deliver it to Bob. if not he will swim over there himself after making the hammer, and start mining fast to get bob free (I mine faster)

Will use 10 xp to gain iron mining 2.

I vote that worker 2 keeps mining iron.

This is edited version of my move. See my previous post.

Zaul heals Tar for 1 HP and learns tamer 1. He goes up to goats and feeds them some pine seeds and seaweed. Then Zaul descends into the crack all the way down. He examines green stones (and mines them if appropriate).

Year 2, month 6, week 2:

Bob:
Bob, being stuck below the edge, asks the others to throw him down a pickaxe. He is a bit bored, but then he spots the little red thing again which was walking on the lava a while ago. What is it? Just then Kach tells him he will mine down soon to help him, as he can mine faster than Bob.

Chopper:
Chopper swims to the large tree, thinking now that the pine cones have been harvested would be a good time to cut it down. He starts chopping of the roots, and then goes on the mountain side, where he starts to chop it so it would fall to the mountain. This would have worked, if he had not removed the roots first. So instead of falling to the mountain, the tree slowly falls over towards the lake. All Chopper can do is shout a loud "LUMBER!" warning to the others. The tree crashes into the water. The tip falls just short enough to not smash the furnance on the little eastern rock. But hey, nobody got hurt (except the tree). Chopper gained 15 lumber from the root. The new seedling is fine, the tip missed the spot Chopper put the seed.

Kach:
Kach creates a hammer mould out of 2 construction stone. Then he walks over the fallen tree to the right and talks to Bob, telling him to help him soon. Then he returns to the mold. On the way, Kach befriends the hobgoblin some more and offers to make him a blade. He also asks him for his name, title and profession. The hobgoblin nods with his head to show some respect to Kach and says "I am Hgon. I know, hard to spell, but that's it. I am just a grunt, a ordinary frontline warrior. I would love to get a blade and appreciate the act of friendship." After that, he tells Kach some facts about hobgoblins. You now know more about them.

Mint:

Tar:
Tar awakes, seeing Zaul sitting beside him. He feels better and can stand up and eat. He heals himself and tries to recover.

Zaul:
After he took care of Tar, Zaul feeds the goats with 1 seaweed and the starts to climb down to Bob's cave. The goats seem to calm down a bit after the bird of prey attack. They cuddle up against him and each other. Then he leaves them and reaches the coal deposit, as the way is hard and requires some climbing.

Worker 1:
Worker 1 sees the large tree fall down just when he wanted to go fishing. So instead, he grabs the saw and starts removing the large branches pointing up with worker 3. Together, the gain 8 lumber.

Worker 2:
Worker 2 mines 1 iron and 2 construction stone.

Worker 3:
Worker 3 sees the large tree fall down just when he wanted to go fishing. So instead he helps worker 1 to remove the large branches pointing up with worker 3. Together, the gain 8 lumber.

Hobgoblin Hgon:
Kach befriends the hobgoblin some more and offers to make him a blade. He also asks him for his name, title and profession. The hobgoblin nods with his head to show some respect to Kach and says "I am Hgon. I know, hard to spell, but that's it. I am just a grunt, a ordinary frontline warrior. I would love to get a blade and appreciate the act of friendship." After that, he tells Kach some facts about hobgoblins. You now know more about them.

Chopper begins chopping up the tree. He asks Worked 1 to help gather lumber using the saw, trading tools if the saw is faster than the hatchet.

Vote Worker 1 helps chop the tree, and switch tools with Chopper if the saw harvests lumber faster than the hatchet.
VOTE: Worker 1 and Chopper use the saw to cut the tree. Worker 3 is given the hatchet to help chop lumber

Edit, 1 min later: Done. ;)

@Croverus: the saw can be used alone, but works better used by two. This is why 1+3 worked together. If you used it with a worker (1 got the saw right now), your bonus would be active as it is higher than their basic skills. You could give your hatchet to 3 so he could still work.
