Year 3, month 5, week 1:
"25% bigger chance than usual that vermin appears."

Events:
- Zoomy and Ryan hear sounds out of the vents again.
- Oggy notices that the lava moves unnaturally before he shruggs and leaves.

Boomy:
Boomy mines 4 construction stone and 2 iron, thanks to Oggy's support he is overly productive this week.

Complains:
Complains would have created a chitin shirt for Boomy, but he needs Boomy's shirt first, so he can sew the chitin scales to it. So he helps Trip grab the last door and prepare it so Zoomy can turn it into another vent lid. The vent lid frame only requires metal bars. They also gain 2 lumber.

Oggy:
Oggy joins Boomy and brings him foot, cheering and inspiration.

Ryan:
Ryan continues to chisel steps into the wall, managing to do it on 4 blocks. He nearly reached the top, only 2 more blocks to go.

Trip:
Trip and Complains grab the last door and prepare it so Zoomy can turn it into another vent lid. The vent lid frame only requires metal bars. They also gain 2 lumber.

Zoomy:
Zoomy continues to chisel more foot holes, then he finally attaches the lid to the left vent. While doing that he could hear strange sounds in the vent.

- Trip and Complains eat and drink. 2 food are consumed.
- the dead octopuses need to be cooked soon or they will rott.
- I turned Complains into a worker for now, as nobody showed up to take him over. You can now simply vote for him. I used his xp to buy skills he did not yet buy and also healed him. Please use up his SA and FH as soon as possible.

Ryan finishes the ladder, so he can safely climb down afterwards. Then he gets onto the ledge and looks around.

What's up with discoveries? It looks like gibberish to me.

I wasn't awake it seems when I did the update. Those are my notes what to change on the map picture according to your actions. Removed it. It was how much some chiseled and how much stone/iron was mined and so on. I always put it there but normally delete it. Forgot this time.

Year 3, month 5, week 2:
"50% bigger chance than usual that vermin appears. All characters get 1 SA (special action)."

Events:
- Ryan spots what maybe is a large bug at the left end of the vent shaft system.

Boomy:
Boomy mines 4 construction stone and 2 iron, thanks to Oggy's support he is overly productive this week.

Complains:
Complains focuses on cooking the octopuses. He even manages to retrive one of their ink sacks and puts the ink in one of the empty jars.

Oggy:
Oggy keeps inspiring Boomy and learns a few things about mining while doing that. He also brings the mined ressources to the storage.

Ryan:
Ryan felt his skills with stone have improved a lot after all the chiseling. After he finished the footholes, he takes a look to the left, curious about where the vent leads to. To his left, he spots something moving in some distance, looks a bit like one of the bugs, but larger. Maybe too large to fit into the vent, as it jumps around in front of what looks the end of the vent shaft. He also spots that the vent also goes to the right, but it is blocked after a few meters by stones. Looks like another cave in, not like it was build to end there.

Trip:
Trip takes care of his wounds and rests a bit this week.

Zoomy:
Zoomy refuel the furnance and creates another set of metal bars and attached them to the vent lid frame after they have cooled down.

"I think I found a bug nest here!" Ryan informs people below and tries to get closer look at the huge bug.
If said bug will be able to crawl down the tunnel, Ryan will attack it with a spear.
If the bug is too big and there is no way for Ryan to get over the second shaft, he will climb down and get some stone to block it (leave some food if necessary).

Zoomy attaches the new lid to the other vent, leaving it open so Ryan can get back whenever he wants to. "Be careful! I think there are some bugs down in the closed vent!"

If there is still some time, Zoomy will begin his new project. He already has the pick-head mold. Now he'll need to craft some more basic tools and materials... like ingots, a hammer, a chisel, an anvil, a grindstone (for grinding and sharpening), ... he'll start by creating a reusable mold for metal-rods. They come in handy and might also serve as ingots.

You can look through the bars and see if something is behind. If you would have used a metal plate instead of bars it would be different. For the same reason, the lid does not block smoke, fluids and other stuff like that, like sand for example.

Year 3, month 5, week 3:

Events:
- Ryan spots two small bugs crawling into the vent shaft after the large one made room for them.

Boomy:
Boomy learnt a lot about iron mining and how different it is from mining stone. With Oggy's support he mines 2 iron. Both notice water dripping down from the ceiling after they mined the iron.

Complains:
Complains, who got nothing left to cook, asks Zoomy, who is next to him, if he wants his shirt reinforced with chiting. Zoomy hands it over and gets it back after a while.

Oggy:
Oggy continues to support Boomy. Both notice water dripping down from the ceiling after they mined the iron.

Ryan:
Ryan tells the others about the bug and that he maybe found a nest. He defends himself against the first of the two bugs with his spear. He can keep it at a distance for now and deals minor damage.

Trip:
Trip climbs up to help Ryan. His shovel is not the worst tool he could have brought into a fight in such a narrow tunnel. Crouching to Ryan, he points it at the bugs.

Zoomy:
Zoomy attaches the second lid to the other vent and informs Ryan by shouting up. He starts of creating another reusable mould, but he cannot finish it this week. Complains also turned his shirt into a chitin shirt.

Ryan attacks the closest bug with his spear.It may be not very effective, but it's all he can do now. Ryan aims for various points, trying to find bug's weak spot (1 SA).

Oggy decides to take a break from improving the skills of others. He goes to Maggy and sits on her, watching the waterfall. He closes his eyes and begins to meditate, focusing on the sounds around him. He pours over all the recent events that have happened to them since the great tunnel collapse had them end up down here. He thought of the those that had died, and the lucky few that survived. He thought of their encounters with the squid, the bugs, the skeletons in the tunnel below. He meditated on all this and on their future.
