I'm sorry, but I disagree.
My mega-skill as a Seer was called "Holy Shield". There's a Seer skill called "Resist Evil", which is literally designed solely to counter Evil players. While Hero skills have never been linked to the divine in any way, shape, or form.

Also, being the Anti hero is fun. Pushing people into traps or mines so that you rescue them and get all the glory? Beautiful.

Ookay, skill speculation is still a bit ahead of time, but I guess I should spill some info for clarity:
  • Unaligned skills do not interfere with any other skills,
    ► Show Spoiler
  • Unlocked "basic" skills do not interfere with each other, you can combine Seer, Evil, Hero, Spelunky however you like.
  • Once you lock a basic skill, it has a hidden effect on your char. Well, not so hidden now as I'm spoiling it, but yeah. Locked basic skills on higher levels might deny the usage of certain skills, but generally you don't have to worry about that.
  • If you meet certain conditions, you will be able to learn "advanced" skills, which do, in fact, prohibit the usage of certain other skills.
Basic --> Advanced will be like:
Seer --> Divine, Evil --> Infernal, Hero --> SuperHero (or SuperVillain, sic!), Spelunker --> Master

Is my Unaligned +1 skill locked in or has it not been all this time and no one ever told me? Also I still have no idea what the thing does. +1 to what?

We have no idea what unaligned skills do. We have to figure that out ourselves.

Erm, could you maybe add interesting bits of information like this into your rules post/thread, once you have released them for the public? It would make it much easier to look up. Especially if we continue to play more and more rounds.
I you have already done so, please disregard this post.

Goblins Minesweepers - Hexing Swamps (Turn 14)

Post by LooksAndSmiles » Tue May 14, 2013 1:45 pm

I will edit the Almanac shortly.

Turn 14>>Next Turn

Finds Mines attacks the 'gator whipping and yelling wildly. She deals 1 damage. The 'gator progresses slowly, the reed hinders its movement.
Goska Bluey jumps to C2, sinking knee-deep into the marshland.
Blitz Craig moves over to G10, uncovering a "4". +1XP
Step-and-Boom (yellow) spawns on L5. I am almost sure he planned for a longer stay...
No-Legs steps on H7, which is empty! It also reveals a "1" on G7. +2XP
Tries-and-Dies moves to J3, revealing a deadly swamp dragon! Just kidding, it's a "3". DING !
White Metal (white) moves to K7, exploring a "1". He also falls into a swamp pit, because putting those next to each other is a funny thing! +1XP
Bouncing Burt would flag H5, but given that it has exploded right just a turn ago, it would make no sense flagging the tile. He looks fancy in his fedora, though.
Oh See That Shiny takes the yellow and red tokens (equipping the first one), and then finds a "1" on C10. +1XP

Bada Boom sinks neck deep into the pit. The question is, has he given up hope? Or rather, does any of his companions care?

I'm putting Dies-to-a-Mine and Spawns on Mines on "Missing". Which means they won't count towards total head count, and won't be back in the game until they personally show up. I'm also decreasing the total number of players on the map to 10. (It was 11.)

If Stumbles can spawn for whatever reason, he does so on O3 and pulls Bada Boom out of the bog hole.

Don't worry, you can flag while you are only waist deep in the swamp. You just can't move away...

Also, I finished updating the Almanac about skills. I think it contains every "known" information now.

Spawn on M5. Can I answer a call this turn or do I have to wait until next turn? (Spawning, as I recall, is a full turn action, right?)

Tries picks yellow and green tokens. After that he equips yellow one and, if he can, answers Bada Boom's White Metal's call. If he can't, he flags J4 instead.

Goblins Minesweepers - Hexing Swamps (Turn 15)

Post by LooksAndSmiles » Wed May 15, 2013 10:07 am

Turn 15>>Next Turn

Finds Mines tries to bind the 'gators mouth together, but not being an expert with whips, she only has 50% chance to succeed. Unfortunately she fails, but at least she still manages to deal 1 damage to the beast.
Goska Bluey jumps to E3, revealing a "1". +1XP
Blitz Craig flags H9.
Oh See That Shiny moves to D10, which is empty, revealing other tiles! +3XP
Bouncing Burt flags H4.
White Metal (white) flags L7.
Flags Mines spawns on M5, uncovering a "3". +1XP
Tries-and-Dies takes Jump and Call, and then answers White Metals call. Since he never stated on which side, rolling randomly... He arrives on K8. He pulls the goblin to safety, gaining 3 XP.
No-Legs shoots the 'gator, finishing it off. Combat XP Reward: Burt 2, Finds 3, No-Legs: 1.

Bada Boom silently suffocates in the swamp.

Stumbles around spawns on O3, only a bit too late... It's a "2". +1XP

MAP:
Image

Achievements
Group Achievement: "Each To Their Own", for letting someone die a slow death in a trap. (recieved on Round 1, Turn 15)
Bada Boom: "Had a Sinking Feeling", for being the first to die in a sink-trap.
No-Legs: "Huntress", for being the first to slay a monster.

Bow: Can shoot in any straight direction to 3 movement distance away. Damage depends on the arrows used. Arrows may break upon impact. Requires clear line of sight to the target, fellow players do not count as obstacle.
Whip: Can reach any tile within 2 step walking distance. Deals minor damage. Ability: Bind Target (instead of dealing damage, the user can connect themselves with the target, and so both of them have to stay within 2 steps walking distance. In case they wish to move in different directions, size and strength difference will matter. The user might also try to bind specific parts of the target, but that has only 50% chance to succeed without having an appropiate mastery.). Whipping or binding another player without their consent counts as an evil action.
