Its my intention to help drinks this turn, since I know how frustrating it can be to not be able to act. And then we have 5 goblins working on tasks not just 4. If the spore cloud remains we can always disassemble the grappling hook to tie up Soloman and reassemble it when we can get to one of the other ropes.

(its funny, when I gained two ropes I thought it was overkill having more than one as it should cover most needs. I considered trading one away. Now I want a few more lengths of rope)

If you don't want to be alone in the left screen, Forges will help pull and scavenge the centipede with walks.

Otherwise I will attempt to loot a sleeping solomon (if Solomon falls asleep).

Hmm... i wonder if a dead rat would work as a fan to blow the spore cloud away if i spun it round my head or maybe act as a sponge...

Walks hangs back from the cloud and tries to see whether any of the little bat creatures are still alive or not. It's pretty hard to see through the spores but a couple of the beasties might still be twitching? She carefully edges over to the spore cloud to try and reach the centipede but as she gets to the edge of it, her head starts to swim and she can't remember what she was trying to do. Thinking is hard.

Luckily, Forges arrives to help with moving the centipede and shows up just in time to pull Walks back from the cloud.

Forges heads back to the right and climbs back up and over to where William is in the middle of zapping Solomon with a blast from his sleep-wand!

HEY! What do you think ... you're ... d-

Solomon blinks and stumbles forward, but catches himself on the ceiling. With a vicious tug, he pulls on the grappling-rope and hauls William over the edge of the wall! He lands with a crunch on the floor and loses 1HP from the fall! Solomon slumps to the floor, but isn't out yet! He looks dazed and VERY angry!

Drinks decides to stay as a rat for the time being.

Walks thanks Forges and rushes over to the other room, just in case Solomon can't be handled by the others.
If push comes to shove, she'll stand up on the ledge and shoot him.

If for some reason no fighting oocurs, she will spread her cloak between her arms and encourage Drinks to jump down onto it, hopefully cushioning his fall.


Also, welcome back TL and I hope you kicked that flu good and hard! :thumbsup:

Righteous One will go down and try to tie up Solomon while he is still dazed. Hopefully with some help he should be able to restrain him.

ooc: I figure we should be able to restrain him together, though we may just want to hit him with the wand again. Up to you whether you want to burn your last charge or not though Quarg.

Will attempt to help tie up Solomon if needed...

Will catch drinks and pull off ring if needed...
Other wise i will attempt to jump the gap to Drinks and pull of the ring if successful,,,if not successful drop on a slightly softer Solomon as part attack.

Walks thanks Forges for saving her from the spore cloud and they rush back to the right and make it back up onto the little ledge.

Down below, Solomon appears to still be conscious, but seems to be unable to stand up or form coherent sentences. Righteous and William launch themselves at him in an attempt to tie him up, but he is still plenty wriggly and apparently still has some use of his arms. He pulls a small golden whistle out from around his neck and attempts to blow it. Whatever it does will remain a mystery for now though, because all of a sudden a flying purple rat lands with a thump on top of the dazed giant and makes a bee-line straight for Solomon's trousers which proves to be a perfectly acceptable distraction, allowing William to grab Solomon's arms and Righteous to tie him up.

Dances takes 1 DAM from the leap and is now at 2/5HP.

Righteous One pulls the ring off of Drinks so he can once again return to goblin form. (Yay! you can act normally again buddy) He'll also take Solomon's whistle off and inspect it (but definitely not blow it). "You mind telling us why you haven't been particularly forthcoming or seemingly honest with us?"

Forges goes into the neighboring room and tries to tempt the ooze to move towards him. (If Solomon doesn't talk it will be incentive if a slowly moving gelatinous blob is coming to dissolve him.

Walks climbs down and help with tying up Solomon (if still needed) and/or checks the knots. "Guys, do you want to give each other a leg up and try to get up to the ledge that way?" she asks.

If any goblins want to form a pyramid to try and reach the right upper ledge in goblin form, she will participate. If she can go to the top/ledge that way, she will.

Righteous pulls the transmogrification ring off Drinks and takes Solomon's whistle. The effect of the sleep spell seems to be wearing off, and Solomon is quietly fuming.

"You mind telling us why you haven't been particularly forthcoming or seemingly honest with us?"
"I WAS honest! You came to my home and attacked me for NO REASON. And give me back my whistle!! It's MINE!"
"Does anyone have any of those first group of spores?"
"Does anyone has cheese?"

William unties the pirate hook from the rope and ponders the mushroom spores, while Dances ponders cheese and his lack of it. Deciding that he hasn't rummaged around in Solomon's clothes for NEARLY long enough yet, he frisks the guy and finds a small collection of trinkets, including a small metal soldier toy, some hard cake wrapped in a handkerchief, a small collection of buttons and a shiny red pebble.

"HEY!! You can't take my stuff!"

Walks climbs down and checks the knots the others have made. They seem fine.

"Guys, do you want to give each other a leg up and try to get up to the ledge that way?"

If Walks (or anyone else) still wants to go up Righteous One will do whatever he can to boost her up. If necessary he will let her climb up his battle standard to get the extra height though he'd prefer not to use such a proud symbol in such an undignified way if someone can come up with another solution.

If Solomon struggles, resists, or remains unhelpful, Righteous One will pull out his scorpion blade as an unspoken threat.

ooc: I'd also like to continue exploring the area, so if someone else can guard/interrogate Solomon that would be great but I will do it if no one else does.
