Background: Tells is from a tribe that live mountians. Ever since he was young Tells love to tell jokes. No matter what he doing he would always tell a jokes to the other goblins that he meet. The problem with this is that Tells jokes were bad. Every jokes he tells would make the rest of the goblins sigh in annoyance because the Jokes were so bad. One day the tribe had enough and made up a plan to get rid of him. The Tribe Chief give Tells a "Journey Quest". His quest was to join the Goblin's Adventure League and gain both fame and glory for his tribe. If he complete this quest he would get a statue made in his honor. The tribe in breakneck speed send Tells on his way in hope that they never see him again.

If hair becomes a possibility, can All also have some please? If not, it's OK.

William heads into the kitchen and finds himself a very well stocked larder indeed!

"Oh yeah, I should have said - you guys just make yourselves at home and help yourselves to anything you want from back there. The boss says it's all free to League members, as long as you mind and clean up after yourselves when you're done. One beer for you here, Soars! "

Odd Duck heads upstairs and finds that all the rooms contain 4-6 basic bunkbeds.

"Those rooms have been made up for League members. The boss has a private room in the attic and we have lodgings in a cottage next door for us staff and any clients who stop by. Or we would, if we had any clients..."

I don't really know either to be honest, but you could put bets on stuff like who would make the first kill, who would find the first loot, who gets hurt / killed first etc. The rules of taking bets are basically to make sure the house always wins, so don't offer a good return on things that are likely to happen.

Now, we're still pretty new so there's not much of a client base right now, but don't worry! I've got a few loose ends of my own I need taken care of, which brings me nicely to our First Job. Check the details on the board, and if you're interested in having a shot at it just sign your name on the sheet. You have 24 hours to sign up and if there's too much interest I'll choose a party at random. Now, if you'll excuse me I have work to do. If you have questions, speak to the barman."

QUEST 1: That guy owes me beer!



BACKGROUND: I recently helped a group of evicted trolls settle into a new lair not too far from here in exchange for a crate of their very excellent 'Grulchsbier'. However, they were supposed to deliver it last week and I have a sneaking suspicion that they're trying to get out of paying. So I need some of you to go and pay them a little visit, see what the hold-up is and bring back that beer.

Client: Savage

OBJECTIVE: Go and collect the barrel of Grulshsbier from Thurg the Troll.

DIFFICULTY: Easy

REWARD: Uh... eternal glory? I'm afraid you'll have to find your own reward down there.

BONUSES: I'll pay a variable bonus reward for the recovery of any trophies that are worth displaying in the bar. The more trophies we have and the more impressive they are, the more likely potential clients are to take our organisation seriously after all!

PLAYER SPOTS AVAILABLE: This quest is for four players (I'd prefer to stay on Thurg's good side for now).

Soars sets up at a table in the corner of the room. "Come one Come all. The Goblin Adventurer's League gambling table is officially open. All Reasonable* bets will be accepted. To start things off I'm going to start a pool for who is the first to get chosen for a mission. Rules are you can choose at most one person and a set amount of your bet. You win if that person is chosen, the only exemption is if the mission is for everyone in which case a refund of bet amount will be issued to all who've bet. A winner gets 3 times their bet as winnings. Remember as this is the early stages of the Gambling Table I only have 9.5 gold to cover bets. I will use all money available to me to cover winnings but if i run out I will pay back those who bet first. SO COME ON OVER AND BET"

I'm expecting that people (over time) will want to change their characters or be forced to replace them as they die. This way gives me a record of the noteworthy goblin heroes, and including the player names in the list basically means that I can quickly see who's in without having to trawl the thread to find who's created who
