Benson moves up behind the lion statue. If he can take a shot at the alien on the left of the bus he will. Otherwise go into overwatch.

Atsuka is simultaneously relieved and disappointed that she was not chosen for Operation Hot Blade. She spends the mission time meditating in her bunk, trying not to think of the difficulties that her friends are currently facing and the fact that some of them might not return at all.

Haneul is disappointed that he was not chosen, he wants to help defend the world, and does not like the idea that four of his friends who he as trained and lived with for months are facing aliens with no backup. Why would they only have one dropship for missions? Surely it was better to have everyone fight together? Ah well, there's nothing to do really but trust in our superiors. Hanuel spends the time playing with a deck of cards in the break room, looking for someone to play with to keep his mind off the mission, or for news of what's happening in the mission.

To get another satellite up in the air, we need another uplink.
For some reason, I thought we could have 2 satellites per uplink building... Oh well, this isn't the first time I remembered something wrongly.
Actually you are correct. Each uplink supports 2 satellites (plus adjacency bonuses) we presently have 2 active Satellites however (no idea where they are, as I cannot access our global map and tactics overlay until we 'splash' out first UFO

Cool. How come we have 2 satellites? Is that a random thing, that occurs occasionally in the game, were we lucky? :D

Anyways, I don't know where "north" is in the pictures, but Coffey would proceed up the stairs closest to him and past the fountain into the general direction of the higher level statue(?) that lies in the shadows to the right side in the second to last screen shot and "order" Benson (RP ordering, ooc asking for help. :) ) to tag along, watching his back. He'll try to get the whatever cover he can and over-watch each turn until aliens are found again.

BTW, congratulation Nikolai on the promotion and very cool outcome/solution of this situation! I never saw a car explode in this game yet. Or maybe one, way back before the forum crash, but I don't remember it to be so visually spectacular.

Little side question: I know that the grenade will (likely) have destroyed the weapon fragments of the alien that exploded, BUT what about the alien that got killed by the feedback?

The other alien weapon fragment wont be destory since they werent in the blast raidus.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAH Now that what I call killing two X-ray with one grenade" said Nikolai as he move to the right in hope of getting to cover behind the building steps

"Roger that Coffey." Benson practically whispers as he moves up one tier, and stops behind the cement block within the flowerbed, opposite of the bench. And then goes into overwatch, motioning for Coffey to move up.

If you don't have grenades, shoot at a car. ;)
The stronger the weapon, the more likely it will start to burn. Plasma weapons nearly put it on fire on the first shot. It then burns for 1 turn, then it usually explodes. In the endgame they regularly end up in flames.

Max sits at the monitor, rooting for his teammates out there, like if he was watching them play soccer. "Get that one, take it down!" "Nooo!" "Yesss!"

I'll struggle to get an update out tonight gang. It's my birthday and my partner is cooking me a delicious 3 course dinner and I must eat until I am ready to explode.

John moves up to the fountain, and ducks behind it into cover. If he gets a clear shot with at least 50% hitting probability: shoot the alien, if not, overwatch.

In any case, he motions Benson to catch up, as long as it's safe.

John waits for the outcome of Benson's shot (you can choose with which soldier to act first, right?) and if he manages to kill the closest alien, John will move over in Nikolai's direction (not directly though! look for cover, dash only if he ends up far away enough from the known alien's positions to not draw fire) in order to patch him up soon.
If Benson's shot goes amiss, John will advance into cover in the wounded alien's direction and shoot at if, if he gets at least 50%, else over-watch.

Yes, yes you can. If you specify to wait, or to act after some one, then I'll do that. Otherwise I'll follow actions in the order they come in.
