Zombies. Zombies everywhere.

Post by I'mBob » Sat Mar 23, 2013 3:51 pm

Do you like zombie survival games? Do you want to try an interesting, unique game, that I honestly don't think you ever saw something like it before?

Then try Die2Nite.

So, I play this game for over 2 years, with breaks here and there. The whole point of this game is to survive with other 40 (sometimes random) people in a town on a post-apocalyptic world. This game is fun to play with random people, but however random people from the internet... Well, yeah.

So I'm looking for players to play with, we can form a coalition of up to 5 players who will play together in towns, so there is less random and more people you know.
If anyone already play this, please let me know. If not, why wont you try? The game is simple and you easily understand it after a few days. It requires minimal playing, you only need to enter 1~3 times a day for a period of no longer than 15 minutes. (Of course, you can enter more, but it is useless most of the times).

So please write me here if you want too. You will enjoy.

Sorry for double post, can I just join a town that you're in? I took my dude exploring and I'm chilling in a unexplored square and now have to wait 2 hours before I search again. I have a biscuit and water so I can make it back if I need too, but I don't quite understand how useful I'm am or what I need to do to be useful.

Also are you signed up to be a hero or are you a citizen like me?

I'm a citizen. To be useful, try to read the town forums and scavenge for useful items. Check the wiki if you are not sure what is useful and what is not. If you don't have time to scavenge, build. Build what the forum says. Most important, read the forums.

Ah, I camped out because I misunderstood the heroic actions. I thought everyone got to use 1 heroic action during an entire session and that heroes could use them more often. I was wrong, injured my foot and survived 1 night camped out. Now I am camping surrounded by 5 zombies because I couldn't fight em off.

I'll be better about reading forums next time

Nah, you need to be a long time hero for that. We need to play a town or 2 together sometime. Tell me your IGN.
ttwig wrote:The coalition of people
Coalition allows a group of up to 5 people to be together, meaning that when one of them enters a town the other 4 will go with him if they can. This makes the game more fun as you play with people you know.

Not necessarily muly account, but someone who is playing just to ruin the game for others. He steals stuff and things like that.
Not to be confused with selfish play, who are people who just don't like to cooperate.

gotcha. Annoying I think there is a dude using 4 accounts and stealing everything and chillin in the same square out in the world beyond. Shunned him and I think all the other accounts soon. Annoying because most of the stuff is stuff I added.

I know it's kind of a no no but I created a second account off my work email so I could really test out different ways to play. Not sure the rules on it- but worse comes to worse we could potentially bring him into the coalition if it helps our survival.

Also are there any items in the directory you recommend using?
