Re: MotBM (OOC)
Yeah, Mort's pretty much hit the nail on the head.
In most RPG games, it's pretty clear who the "bad guys" are. You know pretty much instantly whether you want to talk to someone or punch them. But since almost everything we've met in here so far is kinda "neutral", not automatically hostile or friendly, it's hard to tell how to react to stuff. People need more time to think about what they want to do or say, which means forgetting to post at all a lot of the time.
Plus, in this case, the only one's who can really do anything are Aura and Ah'Sereen. So the rest of us are really just waiting for them

Re: MotBM (OOC)
Back from vacation, I'll read and catch up to what is going on, or maybe not going on, as this thread is kinda saying. I'm good with seeing what is going to happen, but, yes, it is hard to know how to react quickly to anyone/anything we run into. Not a bad thing, but slowing in this venue.

Re: MotBM (OOC)
Hey folks So, to save me having to know everything about everything, would you mind posting a bit of mechanical info about your spells / actions when you post them? Knowing whether an attack is ranged / melee and what kind of damage it does is pretty handy for spells especially.
Thank you!
Thank you!

Re: MotBM (OOC)
Copying this from another thread but honestly, you're probably right. Question: do we have a map, or would we need to create our own? I believe to vaguely remember the layout of the rooms we've been through so far... But not sure I could properly put that to picture.((I think we need a sheet like this for MotBM... I think I've forgotten most of the clues over there. ...heck probably most games.))

Re: MotBM (OOC)
There's a partial map on the front page of the ooc, but it's not been updated in a little while because it needs photoshop. I'll see if I can get to it today.

Re: MotBM (OOC)
I made a Google Sheet earlier with a tab for NPCs. Could easily add one for general notes too.

Re: MotBM (OOC)
Quickly added two pages with some crude "notes"... with no proper names since hell if I remember those, I'd have to go back through the thread to fill those in, and going off memory so probably wrong... But mostly asking to see if the "layout" of them seems ok/correct, because if so we can start working together on filling them in.

Re: MotBM (OOC)
Mind there's already an NPC page where dusk has been kind enough to put the actual names in

Ah... Right, should probably continue using that and just add another page for map notes as well, then.

Re: MotBM (OOC)
<Ahem>
So I completely forgot I was supposed to be giving you guys directions from the book that I can't access at work. Hence the forgetting.
Are you guys still here and interested in continuing? I'm 50-50 on the setting at this point, but happy to keep going and see where we end up.

Yep, I am here and ready.
Gotta admit, never had a character been bitten by something and like it before.

Re: MotBM (OOC)
In hindsight, Dain probably shouldn't have told Aura what the trigger for the sigil was. Since now she knows for sure that he's probably-definitely Evil.
(Though she probably suspected already, what with the whole snake-boy attempted-murder thing )

Truly, if she hadn't figured out he's headed to the Dark Side, then she's suffering from a terminal case of naivety.

"Seemed to be a love letter or somesuch... Nothing important."
(Except it keeps getting longer and longer apparently, but let's move on before we drown under a love letter or something. )

Re: MotBM (OOC)
Oops, so I did!
Also on that particular subject: yeah, Aura is well aware the group is pretty much evil, but she's been roped into the job by a "friend" and under the pretense that with her help, it'd just be theft and no one would need to get (seriously) hurt...
If this continues though she might just try and drag half the party of to the dungeon once they finally manage to get out.

I feel quite sorry for Aura. She takes one tiny step towards participating in a crime and ends up in this bizarre place.
