Re: Shipwrecked OOC thread
Ignore if you want, but I'd probably do this:
If you can download an appropriate grid from the web, just jam it into pain and erase the squares you don't want. Then use a coloured blob for each of us and maybe a shape for each enemy (or a copy-paste google image of e.g. a skull / zombie head or whatever). Don't go nuts, as long as we know roughly where we are there's nothing wrong with keeping it dead simple.
save as a .png file and chuck it on imgur.

A flat terrain wouldn't be a problem, but sadly you are not headed for something that simple. But I might end up doing that the majority of the time

Even so, just using thicker lines to indicate where the slope / cliffs are or something? Maybe black if we can jump off them safely or red if we can't? I dunno - I'm guessing based on absolutely no knowledge of what you've got in store for us but all I mean is don't go nuts

I can see what you mean by not "don't go nuts"... I really don't understand how you guys can make graphical games! xD
I might have spend and hour or a maybe a bit more just figuring out how to make a combat grid (and figuring out how to make transparent layer).. The update is highly likely to be postponed tomorrow as I under estimated the time I had to put into it.

Re: Shipwrecked OOC thread
I just figured out how to use sprites Or rather Layf told me, but let's not say that out loud so I seem dumb So if you got one in particular that you think is appropriate for your character gladly send them my way so I can use them instead of a coloured square.

Before I post an action, I must know:
Can we make our own rolls without invisible castle, or will you make them for who that does not want to invisible castle?

So, guys... Super badgers. Apparently it's a thing in the Theisverse.
I'm not sure if I should be jumping in joy or be terrified for some reason.

So....
1. Does that mean the skeleton is done for?
2. Thanks for choosing to put Morgan's complaint AFTER she knocks it down. cause that makes sense.... hahahaha.

Thanks, and to be fair - in MY post Morgan made the useless statement BEFORE she got ready to whack at the skeleton again

Re: Shipwrecked OOC thread
And now I'm also at 1HP. Protect me guys! This is Theis coming out to get me like he promised he would!
Seriously though... Yeah, super badgers. That being said, apparently there was only a 5% chance of the spell being successful after talking to Theis so... It can be either a good thing or a bad thing. (They are more powerful then a regular summoned badger though. Even without the enhancement feature I got)
That being said, I won't complain. The complaining is reserved for when I stop rolling twenty's.

Re: Shipwrecked OOC thread
Maybe I should remind people of the falling rules once again. You take 1d6 dmg for every 100 ft you fall, or was it every 10 ft?
You can reduce that damage as if you fell 10 feet shorter than you actually did by a succesful jump dc 15 if I remember correctly.
So if M0rt jumps off he will recieve 1d6 damage unless he succeeds a jump check or he have to climb down.
This can also be done with tumble (which doesn't require you to jump willingly) but ranks in the skill is required to use it.

Re: Shipwrecked OOC thread
No need for the spoiler here, and he mentioned I just had to spice it up with three ghouls but deleted it because he corrected my falling damage reference to the comic
And thanks, I'm not sure I can figure out moving them or if I even did it right. But it worked in the end!

Hehe... I hope it works...
If each "thing" have its own layer, and you can move it freely with the move tool... then you are doing it right

Yes, it was me. I corrected Theis on the falling rules...
And then I pointed out that he just had to add three ghouls xD

Re: Shipwrecked OOC thread
Hmm, so being knocked unconscious by a ghoul or potentially jumping to my death... And if it's a STR modifier like the sheet seems to suggest, I'd need to roll 17.
Decisions, decisions...
Not to mention the fact he seemed to suggest there may be more up there.
