Re: The Wandering Archipelago (OOC)
So I'm not going to run a 40-90 round chase. That would be terrible.
Instead, we're moving off combat and into "chase phases!" (or whichever catchy name you'd like to give them). These are essentially set-piece style stages in the chase where something interrupts the normal "continuing at my movement speed". Once the phase is resolved, you guys can give up or continue and we move to the next phase until the chase is complete.
Anyway, just letting you know in case you were curious the dash limits still count, with the assumption that you're only using them during the set piece phases, and didn't pointlessly exhaust yourselves in between them

Is the gnome stunned for its turn (bringing it back to me), or am I just on hold until everyone else responds?

Re: The Wandering Archipelago (OOC)
The gnome's taken her turn, and needs to wait for her next turn to act in response to what you did. So she's not necessarily stunned, she just hasn't had the chance to do anything yet. Once the others have all reacted (which I think they have) I'll get the next update done when I get a moment to check the gnome's options, and we'll see what she does.

Okay, that's what I figured, thanks!

Re: The Wandering Archipelago (OOC)
If you're looking for an action from me, I'm too woozy to play tonight. Not sure how I'll be tomorrow. So, uh... just go on without me. Don't want to hold things up too much.
Mostly offline/inactive due to chronic health issues. PM me if you really need attention.

Re: The Wandering Archipelago (OOC)
No problem wears
The focus is sort of on Korrik's thievery at the moment, but the chase team is welcome to post whatever you want to do now too. Your last update is about here, shortly after Gwen finished off the beaten-up gnome:
http://goblinsforum.com/viewtopic.php?f ... 25#p235667
You are all on the trail still, and Syli is down below the cliff / trail to the left of the main party. She is currently unaware of the gnome's demise.

Well, if humans can flirt outrageously with dragonborn, then consenting gnomes of can do whatever they please with one another or with the occasional half orc...

Re: The Wandering Archipelago (OOC)
So, wait. We found the gnome. We let her lead us to the orc. We tracked her down and killed her. And he wants me to sign a paper stating that he did it so that he can collect the bounty on her head? Do I have that right?

Re: The Wandering Archipelago (OOC)
We followed her to the hunters, found out that she'd been stealing hunting spoils and endangering hunters, we tried to question her, she took off running. We tried to stop her, she wouldn't stop until our attempts to incapacitate her ended up killing her. As for getting the confirmation... I guess it's for a bounty? Or just proof that the threat's been dealt with, maybe.

Re: The Wandering Archipelago (OOC)
Yeah, I think he's planning on claiming the bounty, but would rather have you two confirm as witnesses rather than drag her body back as proof...

Re: The Wandering Archipelago (OOC)
We could probably claim the right to a portion of any bounty, considering he didn't attack her at all and just followed us, but if there are licenses involved in bounty hunting then we'd not be able to claim it directly.

Re: The Wandering Archipelago (OOC)
Yeah, you guys have the right idea the half orc and gnome we're chosen to go and deal with the gnome problem somehow and now just need to report back that the job is done, with some kind of proof. A witness statement from a trustworthy person works just fine in this land-before-cameras and stuff. Otherwise they'll need some other form of proof and the orc seems to find that idea rather distasteful.

Re: The Wandering Archipelago (OOC)
Eh, either way, not an easy route for Korrik to return them at this point. There was a chance of pinning their theft on the gnome druid, but that ship has largely sailed. Can't really just leave them lying about without inviting more questions that might lead back to the party.
