((yay! She didn't get shot!))

Nem sneaks extra stealthily over to the snake statue and checks it over quickly for traps, or mechanisms or anything like that, wondering idly if it might be worth something.

Time to be good at investigating: 1D20+2 = [5]+2 = 7

I rolled investigation. I should have known better...

Tess: You shimmy up to the snake statue and check it out. The snake is coiled atop a pedestal, and seems to be rather well carved from stone. Its head is reared up, a hood spread and mouth open. Small ruby eyes glint in the light from the braziers, but what really catches the eye is the fist sized ruby held in its mouth! Definitely worth something!

Zephyr runs up and barely manages to hit the zombie that Maji just took a bite out of... but the part she manages to barely hit is the neck and the head topples backwards as it crumples to the ground.

Zephyr: Attack: 1D20+5 = [3]+5 = 8
Zephyr: Attack damage: 1D8+3 = [5]+3 = 8

PS -while I'm at that end of the room, can she squeeze behind the gong at all or would she have to pass in front of it?

Coljin moves north 25 feet and lets another crossbow bolt fly at the zombie that is to his north east.

xbow attack: 1D20+3 = [4]+3 = 7 Uggh.

Ulmwin uses his action to switch to his magic rapier, standing ready to attack anything that might get in melee range.

Here's hoping zombies are dumb and it's gonna charge to next to Ulmwin without being able to attack

Coljin: Your bolt passes right through a hole already in the zombies chest.

The zombie by the brazier is getting the better of Randy, clobbering the ranger into the pillar.

Zombie Slam: Randy: 1D20+3 = [14]+3 = 17
Zombie Slam: Randy: Damage: 1D6+1 = [6]+1 = 7

Maji's friend brings two ravaged hands down on his neck. It kind of tickles.

Zombie Slam: Maji: 1D20+3 = [12]+3 = 15
Zombie Slam: Maji: damage: 1D6+1 = [1]+1 = 2 --> 1

The last zombie shambles back towards the gnome who made its gelatinous brain hurt.

((Anything for Ily?))

Ulmwin: You stow your crossbow and draw your rapier.

((You won't be able to ready an attack if you're using your action (you could drop crossbow and draw sword, then ready or use an action), but the you're at the top of the round, after the zombie moved towards you, so you have other options if you want to change the above.))

Randy curses, catches his balance. He winds up PW again and swings with his right sword.

R short sword: 1d20+4 = [16] = 20

R short sword damage: 1d6+2 = [5] = 7

Planar Warrior: 1d8 = [8] = 8

Total damage: 15

Randerwaith: You focus on the zombie and strike true, feeling the planes thrum as the energy is released, blasting off the zombies left arm, though it still looks plenty intent on punching you.

Two skeletons fire on Maji, Zephyr trying but not quite in time to block one of them, the arrows punch into his giant lizard form and he's forced back to dragonborn shape.

Skeleton: Shortbow attacks on Maji: 1D20+4 = [10]+4 = 14
1D20+4 = [19]+4 = 23

Skeleton: Shortbow attack on Maji: Protection disadvantage: 1D20+4 = [16]+4 = 20
Skeleton: Shortbow attacks on Maji: 1D6+2 = [6]+2 = 8-->4
1D6+2 = [3]+2 = 5-->2

The skeleton at the far end of the room fires on Coljin, but it deflects of the armored cleric.

Skeleton: Shortbow attack on Coljin: 1D20+4 = [3]+4 = 7

An arrow from the darkness punches through Ulmwin's leg.

Skeleton: Shortbow attack on Ulmwin: Advantage: 2D20.HIGH(1)+4 = [13, 19]+4 = 23
Skeleton: Shortbow attack on Ulmwin: damage: 1D6+2 = [3]+2 = 5

((He makes up for it in cuteness. If you were wanting to resummon him at some point into a different form that can see in the dark, these would be your options... some more useful on a regular basis than others.))

Holger will cast fire bolt at the skeleton again

Holger fire bolt: 1D20+6 = [17]+6 = 23
Fire bolt damage: 1D10 = [5] = 5

Maji utters a low growl as he shifts to a brown bear. He roars and tries to take down this dead man.

Rage bite, rage claw: 1D20+5 = [5]+5 = 10
1D8+6 = [6]+6 = 12
1D20+5 = [7]+5 = 12
2D6+6 = [4, 3]+6 = 13

If he kills this zombie at any time he goes to the nearest zombie to attack.

When her turn comes around, Nemeia will take a closer look at the gong and then sneak back along the wall until she's 30 feet away from the ruby statue.
