Gwen is burn's warlock from the Wandering Archipelago game.

Badge's character in Thinks game, hence her cautioning Badge not to assume that something that exists in my game exists in hers.

:chuckle: I've already advised against crossovers. Some of our characters in other games would be...incompatible. (I really don't know about Dain yet, other than he's an arrogant, self centered jerk... with a finely developed survival sense. He DID know better than to tic of the dragon lady. I haven't figured out if he's going to be a useful damage dealer or a glass cannon.)

Can I convince any of you to come play in my Star wars campaign?

On a more game related note:

Have any of you thought about whether or not it could be possible to Re-close the alcove openings, would save us a lot of battling.

Star wars isn't my thing I'm afraid, so I think I'd be mostly lost. I'll follow along if I have the time tho :)

But yeah, closing the new corridors is what Nem will try and do if there's an opportunity. In the meantime, I still the the generous application of fire will help those corridors. We must have flasks of oil, no? Or just use what's in the braziers...

Two games is about my max right now. Plus all the firewall aggravation. Otherwise I would be.

In terms of the current situation, Randy has a couple of flasks of oil and still has the fireball gem from the blights' lair. Given the potency of the gem, I would reserve it for a last resort. I seem to recall that it had a larger than normal radius? It could be almost as dangerous to the user as to the target. The trick with Molotov 's is that it takes about a round to prep one if you didn't have one ready, so two rounds to bring one to bear. Randy still has two spell slots (through the magic of ret conning :chuckle: ), so he can try Hail of Thorns again. It's a short range AOE (main target and anything within 5 feet).

 Not sure the loot page is updated with any of that info...
*Edit: That one was. Wondrous Item, Rarity unknown: single use - When activated and thrown, everything in a 30ft radius takes 6d6 fire damage (DEX save for half), and a 10 ft radius around the point of impact is engulfed in flames that persist for 1d4 rounds. Any creature starting its turn in or entering the flames takes 2d8 fire damage.

Or coordinate with a second person, it's still taking up two turns, but can get it done one round of combat.

Star wars does nothing for me either, sorry Badge. I haven't even seen the last two movies.

Coljin has a turn undead available, but it has range of 30 feet. So he is holding that until some group is swarmed. It will make them flee for one minute or until attacked. So it will take a group of undead out of the fight for a bit when needed, but we have to let em run and not attack them until we are ready to fight them again.
And I don't know why, but camel undead made me smile.

We also have a healing rain dagger, and but it works SLOWLY.

If we clear out a corridor, and go into it, it'd be easy to defend, the rain dagger can heal us. that is a workable option, too, if we start to get overwhelmed.

Edited for spider's info in next post.

It's a dagger, and cure spells don't have any affect on undead or constructs in 5e.

Oh, that sucks, I never would have thought they'd changed that.

But if we go into the corridor and they close it on us, we're forked.

Are the braziers really sturdy or could they be tipped? (Or is that an action to find out?)

Am I correct in assuming Holger can hear Tess' and Randy's conversation and have a good idea that pulling the lever in front of him is a good idea?

Braziers are on a stone pillar... they seem pretty sturdy.

I don't think they were yelling it for all to hear, and Holger's passive Perception wouldn't have been enough to pick it up. Tess might holler at you though.

I meant if you pulled the lever and something good happened, you might holler at him to do likewise...

Burns, save some of these hot rolls for Gwen! She needs it more than Maji!

Hahha! I know right! At least she got one good roll, even if she can't eldrich blast with it without disadvantage.

Well, don't panic too much, Spider. Undoubtedly, we're still going to pull it up, because "there might be loot under there"... We'll just have cleared all enemies first.

This fight would only be overwhelming if you let it get overwhelming, but Randy and Maji definitely tipped things back in your favor for the moment. Ulmwin's in a bit of a tight spot, but the zombos are too dumb to think to use the levers, even if they had a better position on them.

Now I'm not so sure about that plan anymore...

Anyways, did you really need to roll 1d1? :P
