Netflix is finally coming to New Zealand next year, hooray!

A question for you Americans on how it works. Is it only available to be viewed through computer or tablet? How does one watch it through TV if you don't have an internet capable television?

It requires an active Internet connection. If your TV isn't Internet capable, you have to hook it up to something that is. Our DVD player, for example, is Internet capable, so we can play Netflix on the TV through that. There are various devices designed for the purpose, as well.

If you have an internet capable television or DVD player, you can watch it there. So internet capable consoles and such typically are setup for Netflix, too! (My ex usually watches things through her PS3.) Otherwise smart phones, tablets, computers, etc can all access Netflix to stream content.

They do have a rental service, though I think they're phasing it out? And I think that's US only.

I recommend the http://www.unblock-us.com service. For five bucks it will DRAMATICALLY and LEGALLY increase your access to Netflix offerings. :cheer:

That definitely works. We have ours hooked up through my son's 360.
