Naps will thank All and retreat with the wand to the corner farthest from the mystery ceiling formation where she will attempt to use the burning part of the wand to coax the unlit torch back to being lit.

GAL:Q5 - The Fountain of Mud-honey - Turn 7
TURN 74
All carries on working on the puzzle box but quickly has time to pass the burning wand to Naps who then hurriedly heads to one of the corners of the cavern. not able to simple light the torch with the wand she directs the wand at the wall and the torch between and ComPoof, the wall has a scorch mark but the torch is light and a good thing to it looks like the light from the portal is fading.
Steals goes back and investigates the chalices in more detail.
The wooden one has a picture of a baby goblin on it, the gold one has goblin wearing a crown, the iron one has a battle of goblins fighting against horned beasties , and the bronze one looks to be a goblin holding a dagger about to cut a sheeps throat. Other than those pictures there is no writing but they all look like they might be worth something to the right buyer.

TURN 75
"Well, the hands seems like a good solution, but, who are we going to make try it first?"
Wondering about the situation Steals expressive a viewpoint whilst pondering others.
"I'm not sure, but are we technically obliged to try it out? We could just finish it here and transport it back"
Naps with torch lit hands All back his wand before heading over to the thing in the ceiling. Looking up carefully it does appear to be the legs of something but the top half is still obscured in the darkness, but the legs glisten and shine, perhaps the are made of metal.
All finally gets the puzzle box open, and finds a odd red flashing ball made of metal, and 3 sheets of parchment and the within the edges of the box was some of vinegar to obviously destroy the parchments if the box was merely smashed open.
The first parchment is obviously a spell but there is no title so she puts that aside for a moment.
The next is a tiny scrawling
The Chief doesn't know I've slipped this in here but I feel for those that got this far with nothing and were also cursed so here is a scroll to identify the curse you will have.
Then the room lights fail and the only light in the room is the torch Napsis carrying and the the flashing red ball, which is not much good for reading so All moves nearer to Naps to finish reading the final and piece of parchment.
Congratulations on getting this far, if you choose correctly in this room it is a shame you will die in the next unless you have planned your escape, but here is your last chance to return home safely, well cursed but safe and at least back on your home plane. If you have planned ahead well done you are worthy of acquiring items we have left and the healing and the ability the fountain will give you after one final puzzle test.
Oh and leave the timer behind in this room or the guardians will activate when it finishes its countdown.

"Well, here goes nothing..." All equips the bow and veil of the She-Goblin, picks up the golden skull and brings it close to the fountain, and drinks a handful of the mudhoney (using her hand).

In case it goes well when All drinks from the fountain, Steals will follows her lead and drink with his hands cupped together.

Naps decides that joining her companions at the fountain is probably a very good idea (especially if she can get the fountain between whatever seems to be waking up at ceiling and her lone hitpoint) and, in light of her companions doing it, decides to follow her companions' suit and use her hand (if possible while still holding the torch in the other, otherwise, she will have to use both) to take a small sip of the mud-honey.

TURN 76
The group think about leaving whilst All equips her bow which still has no arrow and puts on the veil.
"Only problem with leaving is I think the token will bring these guardians with it! They're pretty close! Maybe if we take it all home, we can convince the guardians we mean no harm... They still don't quite make a decision to leave yet and instead the group decide to all try drinking from the fountain with their hands instead of the cups.
"Well, here goes nothing..."
All goes first and drink though it is more like eating the semisolid mudhoney, the first thing she notices is the taste, it is sweet and delicious and very filling then she feels her wounds begin to heal closing shut, just the right amount for what she ate. Then as it is the first time she has eaten from the fountain she feels something churn and change with her and she then feels much more hearty than she did before. (D66 roll 63! Invigorated +1 permanent HP).
"This is the best thing i'v ever tasted."
The other follow suit and rush over to the fountain and try eating some with their hands too.
Naps tires the mudhoney next and for her is more chewy and sticky than she first thought still sweet and tasty. It first heal some of her wounds before beginning to churn within her stomach but for her it seems to redirect its tingling sensation to her hands and quite unexpectedly she starts secreting mudhoney from her hands, with a quick flick of her wrist she suddenly has formed a semi solid shield made of mudhoney.(d66 roll 11 mud honey shield- see below)
Steals is the final drinker and for him the mud honey doesn't taste as nice as he first thought it would but it still causes his wounds to heal and it was sweet sure but there was an odd after taste, hard to tell what, kind of just a tingle like the taste was ripped away too quickly. (d66 roll 31 - Slight blink- see below)
From the ceiling drops a creature which at first looks alive but it lands with a metallic tap on the ground, It mechanical wings buzz quite loudly but, then you begin to hear more buzzing from high above. It goes to rake at Steals with its front legs, but somehow the attack passes straight through him and he is unharmed. had it hit it looks like it might have hurt!
It took a moment but now that All is wearing the veil she can see in the darkness perfectly, she looks at the creature then at where it came from, then at the top of the carven and her shoulders drop. It looks like there might be at least 30 of the things up there all clinging to parts of the wall and some are beginning to twitch.

The group think about leaving whilst All equips her bow which still has no arrow and puts on the veil.
"Only problem with leaving is I think the token will bring these guardians with it! They're pretty close! Maybe if we take it all home, we can convince the guardians we mean no harm... Or if push comes to shove, the others can help. What do you think, should we all huddle in close and try to head home this turn?"
"We should get out of here now though, and we got the gold to repair any damage to the inn if you are worried about that and together with the others we should be able to survive."
They still don't quite make a decision to leave yet and instead the group decide to all try drinking from the fountain with their hands instead of the cups.
"Well, here goes nothing..."
All goes first and drink though it is more like eating the semisolid mudhoney, the first thing she notices is the taste, it is sweet and delicious and very filling then she feels her wounds begin to heal closing shut, just the right amount for what she ate. Then as it is the first time she has eaten from the fountain she feels something churn and change with her and she then feels much more hearty than she did before. (D66 roll 63! Invigorated +1 permanent HP).
"This is the best thing i'v ever tasted."
The other follow suit and rush over to the fountain and try eating some with their hands too.
Naps tires the mudhoney next and for her is more chewy and sticky than she first thought still sweet and tasty. It first heal some of her wounds before beginning to churn within her stomach but for her it seems to redirect its tingling sensation to her hands and quite unexpectedly she starts secreting mudhoney from her hands, with a quick flick of her wrist she suddenly has formed a semi solid shield made of mudhoney.(d66 roll 11 mud honey shield- see below)
Steals is the final drinker and for him the mud honey doesn't taste as nice as he first thought it would but it still causes his wounds to heal and it was sweet sure but there was an odd after taste, hard to tell what, kind of just a tingle like the taste was ripped away too quickly. (d66 roll 31 - Slight blink- see below)
From the ceiling drops a creature which at first looks alive but it lands with a metallic tap on the ground, It mechanical wings buzz quite loudly but, then you begin to hear more buzzing from high above. It goes to rake at Steals with its front legs, but somehow the attack passes straight through him and he is unharmed. had it hit it looks like it might have hurt!
It took a moment but now that All is wearing the veil she can see in the darkness perfectly, she looks at the creature then at where it came from, then at the top of the carven and her shoulders drop. It looks like there might be at least 30 of the things up there all clinging to parts of the wall and some are beginning to twitch.

Naps will nod agreement, and join Steals by All. If the wasp looks like it's getting too close to them, she will be prepared to give it a nice burning torch to the face (or, whatever appears to be the face on this thing).

TURN 77
All rushes into a good position she thinks will be central enough to get everything she wants to go with them, with the others huddling close to her
"So are we going now?"
"Yep, we're going!"
Naps nods in agreement and just as All is about to activate the stone the giant mechanical bee buzzes her and with her hands slippery from the mud honey she drops stone into the fountain. The bee swoops round the fountain once more and this time however it tries its attack against Naps and she just barely holds it off with her new Mudhoney shield. In a panic she lashes out with her torch which slams into the metal face of the construct but it doesn't seem to do any damage to the thing.
Steals Zaps it his his light wand to distract it while All fishes for the stone. the wand seems to make a small hole in the bee but it still seems fine.
All latches onto the planaport token and shouts"Allons-y Allonso!" and a shimmer vortex surrounds everyone including the attacking construct just as another flies into the area.
After lurching of stomachs similar to the portals you have passed through you reappear in a swampy forest still battling the giant bee that came with you. the token itself crumbles to dust and just beside you the head of another bee tumbles to the ground having not quite been fully in the vortex when it occurred.

Naps will wait for the bee to get close enough to ground again and aim the burning torch at it's wings.

GAL:Q5 - The Fountain of Mud-honey -Turn 78
TURN 78
The mechanical bee flies around and around then swoops down at an easier target than previous. Steals is the chosen victim and it comes in fast and hard and bull rushes at him, forcing him back and down onto the ground where he takes a gash to his arm (-1hp). He fumbles for a weapon and finds a dagger and stabs up from underneath the armoured frame, but it clanks off harmless only making a small surface mark in the metal, a better advantage or weapon will be needed to hurt this thing.
All and Naps use this time to attack both with fire!.
All fires off a blast from his wand and it scorches a mark across its face, a little section begins to melt, but again it doesn't look like it did to much damage.
Naps comes in from the side and attacks the wings with his torch, if this was a normal giant bee this would have burned they wings, but these wings appear to be made from harder stuff and they remain un-effected by the puny hit from a hand held torch. The bee does notice though and buzzes its wings quickly and lashes out with its stinger, the torch goes out and the stinger just misses Naps

All takes the chance while the bee is distracted with Steals and Naps, and tries to cut its head off with her sword, aiming at the joints in the metal.

Naps will swap the torch out for her sword and aim for the bee's underbelly, shield ready to fend off the stinger again.

GAL:Q5 - The Fountain of Mud-honey -Turn 79
TURN 79
The mechanical bee stays where it is trying to rake Steals who is is still underneath and again manages to cause another wound this time to his leg (-1hp). Steals in turn lashes out with his dagger once more but again the dagger clanks off harmless only causing a grove in the metal no deeper than to cause small pitting.
All and Naps this time attack with swords!
All goes for the neck joint which looks a little less protected than the the rest but not by much, but still attacking this thing is like attacking an iron door and his sword merely clangs off the neck.
Naps tries to get in close to the underbelly and just about fends off the bees stingers with his shield again before making an attempt, but like All and Steals found before him there weapons are nearly useless. perhaps a other tactics are in order.
