In the upper tunnels of this mountain there lives a tribe of Rats and Mice whose odor grow more foul each day. If you and your group can rid this mountain of their stench I will reward you with one of the three items on the shelves.
Laughs runs until he reaches the combat scene, its becoming a really crowded space.
Tells throws a punch at mike, but is unable to get through his defenses.
Soars picks up the the spear and jabs Mike with it, dealing 1 damage.
Walks stabs her pokey stick at Mike also dealing 1 damage.
Mike: "You killed my friend, now Die" he turns on
Walks and stabs her doing 1 damage taking her down to 4/5 Hp.
Oblivious of everything
Dies Spaces out and loses .1 Hp knocking him down to 4.4/5Hp. He flees in terror from these crazy caves.

The dragon begins to roar with laughter which shakes the room. After a bit the cave settles into a somewhat awkward silence.
You are funny little goblin, I like you, I can't remember the last time I have had such a good laugh. I would like you to have that little yellow ball for making me laugh. His voice grows more serious.
I want you to destroy them. Come back when you have destroyed the rat menace and i will reward you as promised.
A group effort by
Laughs,
Walks,
Soars &
Tells smash through the small mouses defenses and leaves him battered and dead on the floor. Silence fills the room area.
A new goblin which the group hadn't met before climbs up the ladder ready to fight but finds that the fight is already over and done with.
A spear lies unused on the floor, Everyone except for
Right have dibs on it.

"Hey there. I'm Walks With The Wind. Or 'Walks' for short." Walks introduces herself to the newcomer and searches the mice's bodies for anything useful and loots what she finds (except the spear since she already has a weapon).
If she still can do something afterwards, she will carefully move into the next room (through the passage in the back wall).

"Well... that happened. Teehahehahaheehtteeee... you missed the fun, new guy! I'm Laughs, by the way. Laughs Creepily. HAwhoeeehe-hum.", Laughs giggles, "Eventually I might like to upgrade to a spear, but one of you unarmed fellows should claim this one. If I can get some help, I found a room with a body to loot, but there are three bats just hanging out, and I think we all know how devious bats in caves can be."
If anyone volunteers to help pilfer a corpse and defeat bats, Laughs will head down to the bat cave.
If not, he'll stroke his mustache wisely and chuckle. (Not an attempt to reconfigure his facial hair, just for dramatic effect.)

William bows "Thank You sir for the clarification of what you desire. You are the client, and we like to be specific in our agreements in the Guild. As a member I will see that we remove by destruction the infestation of mice and rats from this mountain. Now if you'll please excuse me, I need to inform my fellow members of our additional task while we are here."
William bows before taking the yellow ball into his inventory. He backs out of the chamber in respect before heading up the rope to the level aboves above and the door that had been guarded by mice--people...things...If he sees the others he will ask...You heard about the deal with these rat or mice people with the dragon? If not he will inform them The dragon has hired us to destroy them so die they must...welcome to the downside of a life of being a merc and a murderer

Introductions go around and
Right is warmly welcomed to the group.
Tells picks up the spear and claims it as his own.
Laughs puts together a posse of
Soars,
Tells &
Right to take care of the perceived threat of bats. They meet
William as they pass through the portal room.
William finishes up his conversation with the dragon, takes the yellow sphere from the floor and then bows respectfully before backing out of the large cavern. He heads up toward the entrance to the realm of the rats but can only make it as far as the portal room. As he nears the portal, the yellow sphere and yellow circle on the wall begin to pulse in the same rhythm.
Having disposed, rather unwillingly, of the last mouse
Walks searches the mouse for any useful items but finds nothing. She then moves stealthily through the tunnel into a new area. She can hear squeaky voices coming from behind the curtain on the far side of the room and a rabble of noises coming from the top of the ladder.

Righteous One continues down towards the bats with the rest of the group.
So I notice I'm the only only one with out a weapon. So I'll run in and try to lure them into attacking while you guys cover me with your weapons. Sound like a plan?

As I recalled that produced a scream that produced a sonic wall of force from a goblin. What would be produced from a creature that screeches? Might be painful. Then again they have echo-location. So perhaps we could combine the two and have a way to instantly map any dungeon we enter.

Walks examines (just LOOKING and possibly smelling, but no touching or anything else that would make them tumble over noisily or any of that nonsense!) the barrels. Then, not feeling up to facing possibly numerous peers of the two mice she just reluctantly helped kill, she carefully moves back through the passage.

Tells decide to be the sacrificial lamb and quietly move to get to the skeleton one the other side of the bat dung to loot the stuff from it.
