Re: The Goblin Adventurer's League (The Mouse Chef Arrives)

Post by Patdragon » Wed Apr 15, 2015 7:26 pm

Tired and drained from the loss of his team mates this adventure Forges first goes out side and sells off his dead bodies for the mouse chefs garden. After this adventure healing potions are a must.

"So what will all these rats get me? I'm sure they will help your garden. Do you want some bones as well?." Foreges shows him the big and medium rats.

---------------------------------------------------------------
After that Forges heads back inside mostly happy with his trade and decides to try out the combo box for the first time... with his useless items.

He puts the my first wand and the thre books of evil badness into the combo box.

Morning all! Just putting out a quick call for any DMs who are waiting in the wings and are keen to run a quest. Aegis is going to be up next now that GAL7 has ended, but if you would like to add your names to a list I'll get you on a rota. If there are enough DMs, we could even allow 2 PCs per player and run ALL THE GAMES! So let me know :)

I will like to join Aegis quest.
Haven't played this signature game in a long while but I'll try it out again.

Help these poor little guys hatch.

William has come to the conclusion that he needs more DEF before going out on any more adventures...he had a 40% casualty rate on the last one...

Yeah I died on the last one because William our tankiest member wasn't around and no one else was willing to step in and split the damage. I think the real solution is people don't split up. I will say that if people do that in the mission I'm planning you will die. Though I haven't allowed many opportunities to go off on your own. But that's a good way off. Since there is a full quest and a half in spider's and aegis's quest first.

The first thing they did in GAL 8 was split up and it nearly killed them all. Good thing one of their number can heal.

Yeah I didn't count on there being so much trouble getting across to me and me not being able to retreat.

Actually in another game you've lucked out doing that...if the pirates were doing slightly better in rolls you'd be finding the Quarterdeck awash in bodies...

In my defence with that pond, it was the finale of the dungeon! I want expecting you'd be left to face it entirely on your own, but there we go.

Chuck: I'm assuming from your talk of DMing that you'd like to be added to the list of upcoming DMs?

Yeah, it's been a while so I'm just getting everyone to reconfirm that they're still interested and haven't completely lost all enthusiasm for it :)

What did the NPC have for sale again? Any arrows, perchance? Walks lost her last ones in the quest, so she'd very much like to get some new ones...
Also, pass the styringe corpses to the potion maker for his garden and accept anything he might want to give in return (if anything, those are tiny...)

So's you all know, I've now added an "upcoming quests" list to the front page of this thread to show who's waiting in the wings to run a quest. Up next will be Aegis (I just need to draw the intro post for him to ok), followed by Chuck. If anyone else wants to throw their hat into the ring then just let me know in this thread and I'll add you to the list. If we get enough offers from people to GM, I'd be willing to relax the 1 PC per Player rule that we have just now and let you guys do EVEN MOAR ADVENTURES!

William walks up to the trader and presents his +2 LongSword that is a bit too large for him so it has be wielded 2 handed. What is the trade in value of this?

DMs / Players: I've added an extra mini section to the first post where we can keep track of any quest rumours you guys pick up either while adventuring or talking to NPCs. Remind me what they are and I'll add them to the list.
