For his devotion to the clan of Cryptic Fall, in life and in death, let a statue be carved in his memory to stand beside his father.

Congrats, Quild.

Blow your candle while thinking of Chief, chief of the Cryptic Falls Clan. son of Kills a Werebear, the greatest leader.

Was it 3 years already? Dang. It feels like it happened just the other day. :/

May his greatness never fade from our memory.

What? It just happened a few minutes ago. Certainly no more than one hour, as none of the Goblins or Kore took a rest...

Sadly Chief can never have a statue beside his father's.

He became "...an empty goblin among us..."for a cause greater than himself.

Nope. With the exception of Complains the Gap did not break any goblin laws. That was a major part of their decision. Grem didn't like the idea when Fox told him but there's nothing written forbidding it. They just can't use magical items adventurers bring into the warcamps.

This was actually about Complains, not Chief. Complains broke the law by opening the chest and arming himself with those magical items.

i was going to point out that it's a rather silly distinction to say that using stuff from the poorly locked chest is dishonorable because it's 'fighting like an adventurer', while actually becoming an adventurer is totally fine.

but then i remembered that the whole point of those clan laws & traditions is to be silly & highlight the silliness of a typical rpg monster encounter. therefor, it's probably exactly the sort of loophole Chief would have accepted along with the rest of his clan. meanwhile, Genre Savvy, Points Out The Bloody Obvious, & Audience Surrogate all complain about it and are ignored by everyone else.
