I'm glad GAR got funded on kickstarter, but it's a bit expensive for me to just go out and get. As much as I love goblins, I don't want to get a game based on it if it's not fun (like the LotR card game ). So if anyone has played it, let me ask: what is your experience? Specifically:
-Is it fun to play?
-Are there obvious gamebreakers that make it unfun (and can they be easily removed if so?)
-What's the learning curve?
GAR: a good game?

Re: GAR: a good game?
Ah well.. the game is founded... but its not done before December
But I'm sure many will review it when they get it... me included
Of course... there are those who have been high enough level to gain some of the "Alpha" sets... but... don't know how many that was....
Edit: 11 people have gained the Demo copies (if they have received them yet)
The rest of us must await December before reviving ours....

Re: GAR: a good game?
You might check http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/1427 ... -realities for a review, eventualy. I guess I'd be suprised if someone trashed the game on this site, whereas I like the back and forth reviews at boardgamegeek.
I survived the forum move 4 times... yeah, I feel old.
