Re: The Sundered Way
((Since Burns said elsewhere he might not be on as much in the coming days...))
Maji breathes a sigh of relief as the skeleton goes down.
The large stone golem, operating under her instructions to "... kill the snakes if they're still alive, if they're dead too, do nothing.", lumbers farther into the room, raising both fists to smash down on the swarm of snakes around Zephyr's legs.
((Let's have a DEX save from Zephyr, please. You can also roll Roxy's 2 slam attacks at +10 to hit.))

Re: The Sundered Way
Zephyr freezes as a fist swings down past her... *whooosh-THRACK*... against the stone floor, cracking it, but missing both her and the snakes. The snakes shift to the other side, just as a second fist swings down, flattening them into red pulp against broken stone. Roxy stands back up and does nothing.
The dead snakes turn back into bandages, then crumble to dust.
((I was considering you to provide 3/4 cover... so good thing you rolled what you did, and didn't botch your DEX! ))

Re: The Sundered Way
Zephyr Rubs the back of her hand against her forward and lets out a sigh of relief. (Assuming battle rounds are kind of over)
She takes a step forward and throws her arms around Roxy in a big hug. "Thank you Roxy, I'll miss you big girl. Wait here."
She then looks around the room as if for the first time, now that she is no longer fighting to survive.

Roxy hugs Zephyr back, then 12-18 seconds later, slabs of stone start hitting the floor as she crumbles into rubble, raising one hand in Zephyr's direction as if pleading...

The whistle sounds a piercing blast, then crumbles into dust.

Re: The Sundered Way
Coljin moves over to the remains/dust of the snake Mummy thing. He makes sure he doesn't step into the dust or touch it.
"How did the mummy snake die? Pummeled by the elemental and then it turned to powder?" he asks.
He will then think (after a short prayer) about what he knows about mummys/undead and see if there is something he needs to do, to keep the foul thing dead this time.
Religion check with guidance: 1D20+2+1D4 = [18]+2+[2] = 22

Re: The Sundered Way
Nemeia moves out of the shadows towards where Coljin is standing, also taking care not to disturb the dusty remains.
"So I guess that it wasn't really a god then..."
Leaving Coljin to his thoughts, she will look around the room a bit to see what else is here (especially to the south). If she sees anything they've already recognised as dangerous (i.e. statues that maybe have lazers in), she'll keep her distance.

Re: The Sundered Way
After his prayer and bit of thinking and staring quietly at the dust of the mummy, Coljin clears his throat, and with a bit of a worried face states, "It might not be dead. Not for good. Not yet. Tess, everyone, can you look for hidden doors or compartments? In the past, strong mummies have had their organs stored in other places, and by doing that, their followers have been able to re-animate the mummy again. Unless we find the organs, we may not have seen the last of this Snake-mummy."

Feeling a little better now her whistle had gotten blown. Zephyr perks up and answers Coljin's question. "Mr. Snake died with a fireball to the side by my hands." Zephyr beams happily.

Re: The Sundered Way
Coljin gives Zephyr a wide smile, "Let's hope he stays dead, I hope they were unimaginative enough to put his other remains in this tomb somewhere and we find it."
Quieter, to Zephyr he states, "Your rocky friend and you saved us. We would have been overmatched otherwise, I fear. And then you healed us, too. My thanks."

Zephyr pats Coljin on the shoulder in a friendly manner and whispers to him. "As it was the gemstones that you pried from that vault that saved us, the real thanks belongs to you my friend. Now come, let us see what wondrous things this monstrosity was hiding down here in the darkness."
Zephyr moves towards the back wall where the snake and his minions had come from and begins looking around.

He'll move to the last brazier and light it and then move to investigate the sarcophagus that Zihuassal came out of. He's got a feeling this isn't over yet.

((Maji heal: 1D8+2 = [8]+2 = 10))
A bunch of you head deeper into the room, Randy lighting the remaining braziers, which illuminate the painted walls of the room, as well as the three large stone coffins at the far end. Randy has a peek inside the central one, it is oddly configured, but perhaps the bowl like interior is suitable for one with a snake torso. It is empty.
