OOC, since Mines isn't here: Blood Ale? I'm not surprised it's not selling. The connoisseur I heard talking about it said something about it really sucking.

I heard better things about Blood Wine. I think. It's hard to remember. The enthusiast I spoke to left me with a concussion for some reason.

Senor has a look around for decent weapons, but all he can find are flimsy twigs.

If he wants weapons, he'll have to go on an adventure to find them for himself or wait for a trader to come by.

Watching the other goblins gamble and drink, Forges feels oddly out of sorts, new to this type of thing he merely watches the others for now. After a small while heads to the kitchen to see what foods are about.

Schitzel stands up from the card game and walks up and sits down on a bar stool. "So you used to be an adventurer you say, any tips you can give someone starting out?"

"Advice? Well... Um... I guess... Don't roll 1s is a good rule to start with! ummm... try not to die... that's pretty obvious. If you're going to hit something, hit it good and hard...

Oh! And you might want to watch out for mushrooms! Not that I ever had any trouble with them, but I once heard of this paladin who'd been cursed by the Mushroom Gods to bring never-ending disasters down on her party whenever she touched the things. Some say she still roams the wilderness, and turns into a giant toadstool every full moon. Well actually, only one person says that and it's Lewt the trader. He's met a fair few adventurers in his time and I'm sure he'll have some stories for you if he ever decides to swing by. We usually see him around here every couple of months or so, so he's due any week now."

Forges discovers that the kitchen is well stocked with a variety of tasty treats! Plenty of live bugs in tanks and more than a few tasty roots and mushrooms. There's also a decent stock of salted meat in the barrels, though it mostly looks like rats and what appears to be a badger...

Enjoying the fresh air outside in the forest, senor costa fluctuantes is suddenly alerted to an alarming crashing sound from the undergrowth... Something is coming this way, and it's big! Bracing himself for inevitable battle with a random monster, he is somewhat surprised when a tuxedo'd goblin charges out the swamp and rushes inside the inn.



"Help!! Someone! Please help me! My bride-to-be has been kidnapped! We were supposed to be getting married today and she's been stolen away!"
"Holy shit, would you look at that! It's a client!"

Before anyone can act, Savage appears from a back room and directs the distraught goblin into his office.

"Excellent! I knew all those fliers would be worthwhile eventually! Come with me my good man and we'll sort out the terms of your offer..."



The bar is quiet for a few long minutes, until eventually Savage and the Groom reappear.

"All right you lot! Gather around! We've got a new job for you to sign up to today! I'm looking for three adventurers to head off to rescue this gentleman's damsel in distress. Think you can manage it? Then get signed up!"

The Case of the Missing Bride: DM'd by Patdragon

BACKGROUND: Last night Goblin Bride Looks Awesome was kidnapped by a bugbear named Bones Bloodeye, He has taken her to his cave to have as his own bride. Goblin groom wants her rescued as quickly as possible.
Client: Goblin Groom
OBJECTIVE: Rescue his bride
DIFFICULTY: Easy
REWARD: Goblin groom is offering 3 alchemists fire to the rescuers
BONUSES: Bring proof of Bones Bloodeye death, and he'll reward 30 gp, a rope and a map to a dungeon he has heard has treasure in.
