Just FYI, I'm not going to have time to update the GAL artwork for a bit (especially if there's a Hell Mutt to be drawn, because he deserves to be Awesome!), but I'll be around to run the place text-only if you want to talk to the NPCs etc.

Hey :) I just replied in the other thread too, but unless there's a very specific reason why that would be ok, the general rule is that you can't.

Essentially, chainmail and wizard robes are both "body" armour types, so you'd have to choose one or the other. Basically, it's one item per body "slot", so more like this:

I suppose you would need to convince someone with stuff (more disposable than yours) to try it out. perhaps chuck could throw all of the items for his banner into it and wish for a banner and see what he gets...as the ingredients are 2 or more = 1 of something..

edit: Oh, and i nearly forgot the most important part of finishing Quest 4. Each of you 6 who completed the quest get a sack of 25gp from Robert (aka Ladder-Legs)

I know, I just like rolling out the old-skool Friends jokes :) But I'd rather keep it to one item per body slot.

The triumphant adventurers return to the tavern armed with new loot, a fountain, a magic box and a Hell-Mutt.

"First you let them stay for free, then they start bringing pets back. Oh for - NO! BAD DOG!"
"Not on my leg!!"
"I'll get the mop..."

The mutt immediately himself at home.

William meanwhile decides to try out the new magical box. He places a Pointy Stick and the Wizard's Slippers into the box and locks it. A gentle humming sound emanates from the box. After a few seconds, he hears a loud <PING> and the number 95 magically appears on the lid.

Cautiously, William unlocks the box and finds a pointy, pink and slightly fluffy wand inside. He has obtained a Wand of Slumber!

--------------------------------

Wand of Slumber: Will temporarily send one creature to sleep. Contains 3 charges (and will recharge automagically on return to the GAL).

Righteous One looks in the box and sees William's new wand and considers trying something himself, but holds off for the moment.

He then goes up to Ralf and sees about possibly getting a battle standard made.

Robert hands out the 25GP reward to each of the returned questers.

Righteous One heads outside.

Ralf! I would like to purchase your skills and have you make me a Battle Standard from this! Can you manage it?
"Oh my yes! Let's see now... This fabric would need some repairs first. How complicated a design were you wanting? And how big? I can probably make you a small banner for 2GP, a nice medium-size one for 5GP, or something much larger for about 10GP I think. But you'd need to bring me a suitable pole to mount it on. I don't really have anything like that."

Walks will first go to see Ralf, firstly, because of the pelt she had given him to be worked into a cloak before going on quest 4 and secondly to show him one of the three two-handed shields the group brought back from their adventure and ask whether or not he is able to split them into two one-handed shields, each, and - if so - what the costs of that would be (per 2-handed shield).
Besides, his shop is still outside the inn, so it's more practical to see him first, anyways.

After that she will enter the inn greet everyone with a friendly wave and courteously walk up to Robert to collect the 25 gold he has promised her (and everyone else going on that quest) and thank him for it. She will excitedly tell him about the books the goblins found in the wizard's library, especially the one titled "Woodward's guide to all things wooden". If Robert is interested in that, she will gladly fetch it for him, and read it to him/with him, to try and maybe find something to aid with the condition of his lower body.

She will also put the simple axe and the wizards staff into the chest and keep her fingers crossed that she'll get something useful out of this.

Leaves No Trace heads up to Robert and accepts his earnings with a bow. He will pay a visit to Ralf, and present his white rat hide and 2 handed shield along with a small note. The note reads:

Hello sir, could I please have a cost for turning this hide into a cloak, and also are you able to split this shield into two functional ones? What would the cost be for this? Much thanks.

Leaves then makes his way to the chest and places in it his spear and shard of glass.

Laughs will do the same with anyone else asking Ralf about splitting shields (Walks??). He will borrow the water basin, taking it outside before taking off his leather jerkin and attempting to wash the mouse stench off it. If that doesn't fully do the job, he'll ask Ralf about paying for a gnome cleaning, as well as asking about turning the wizard's ears into some sort of dried ear necklaces. He'll make sure to return the basin to the GAL when he is finished.
