I use the mighty power of the indestructible Nokia to dig my way out of the cave.

Tugs Tails, the goblin that was sort of a trapper and wears a bear's tail at his neck, for some reason - Lair of the Mountain King (Run by Thinks)

This post has been edited and any actions previously stated in this post that do not appear are likewise no longer applicable. Any statements/actions taken between the previous DM post and this one have also been nullified.


The cave like room is roughly the size of 3 football fields rolled up into one ball which was then hollowed out. The space is mostly dark though shadows dance on the ceilings from the two torches that are lit.

There is a shiny spot on the other end of the cavern, but it is undiscernible from this distance.

The result of not following the strong recommendations will likely be death, but, as it shall be determined randomly, may be something else entirely. Therefore caution is advised. (See Rule #3, 4, 7)

My mind phases into background noise as I cede full control of this body to the other personality in DaveQ, making it easier on both the Quarg part and SGTdude to understand what is going on with DaveQ.

Davecom3 mindphases and separating from Quarg and becoming a visible spirit, immune to physical damage...

which is good because BadgeAddict crawls right through where his crotch would have been aging the ground as he crawls and causing much dust to kick up.

Quarg decides to move the Entity DaveQ towards the light by slowly following BadgeAddict who is taking point...
And covers the DaveQ mouth to prevent breathing in dust.

Quarg, the entity formerly known as DaveQ even though he is still represented on the list of players by that name, moves towards BadgeAddict...

but didn't say "Mother May I?" and is moved twice the distance backwards that he moved forwards by an unseen force.

kida, Nikohl, Nerre, Dlover, and Theis2 are instantly transported to the light due to being successfully inactive, and discover...


a very tiny treasure chest the size of a golf ball.


BadgeAddict and Quarg are now in total darkness. Davecom3 is unaffected because of his non-corporeal state.

kida opens the treasure chest in search of "~the end~", forgetting to check for traps, and...

and because of his focused searching does not see the life-sized Godzilla jump out and step on him and then say "Aww man, I stepped in player again? That crap is everywhere!"

Thou art dead

Godzilla then uses his rune of teleport and disappears.


The treasure chest is still open and radiating with a bright light of soft green color. This light clearly reveals an old wooden door on the wall behind it and illuminates the rest of the cavern enough that tripping in the dark is no longer a concern.

I take the treasure once Godzilla is gone, and then check the old wooden door for traps.

If the door seems to be trap-free, I will shield us and try if it is locked. If there are traps, I cover Nikohl and me if she tries to disarm them, and hold her light for her so she got both hands to do it.

Quarg pilots the DaveQ towards the door, avoiding all stalagmites, stalagmites, and that fellow rolling around on the floor. As he does so, he repeatedly asks "Father May I go to the door?" and answers himself "Yes, dear" since Quarg obviously is one of the parents of the DaveQ.

Nikohl loots the chest and rapidly moves to the door checking for traps and finds....


a note from charlie chaplin that says "Hey, you are pretty special!", and no traps.


Quarg, missing the second reference that he is no longer a corporate identity, moves towards the door and starts walking in circles muttering to himself...

The door is not amused.


Nerre shields the group against the door...

which was good since it became particularly menacing after being fondled. The door attacks, but the shield absorbs all damage and is subsequently destroyed.

The rest of the group is in active and....


is rewarded with fresh cut lilies.

Feeling very alone, afraid and ....a bit dark, I continue to crawl slowly toward the light and the rest of the group. Having received some fresh cut lilies i touch them, resulting in their death which makes me sad and i shed a few tears.

It regards you for a moment before saying "Gee Nikohl. I really like you and you are really swell and I am sure you are going to find the right door for you, but I just want to be friends."

Nikohl is in the Friendzone and is incapable of entering combat for a random period of time.

BadgeAddict cries over his dead lilies which cures his aging curse and returns him to normal...

But also has the side effect of transforming him into a tall orange-haired eskimo.


The door is preparing to attack the group. But not you Nikohl, you get regarded with friendly indifference.
