Acctually most of the stats are off. One of the dwarves should be dead...

Not sure where you're seeing the extra dwarf, though.

Alright. Teller should move West 5 then heal himself

I'll take out the dwarf. Stumbles takes out the weakened human. Holds and Brims gang up on non-weakened human. Deal with elf next turn if he doesn't run. Gil WILL make it away. Nothing we can do about it. He's a recurring villain. He has a name

Everyone okay with this plan to keep the attack magnetteller alive?

Introducing, the Splitleaf Visualizer!

Though it is very much a work in progress (this is only 4 days of work, not counting art), the following program should be very useful in terms of visualizing the game!

(And it'll definitely save time / effort in making the new map for every update!)

Download Link

Simply extract to a location of your choice, and click "Splitleaf.exe" to run. Use the arrow keys to move the cursor, "Z" to select a unit / order a unit to move, and "X" to cancel selection.

Viable movement squares (the light blue when you have a unit selected) are accurate, and you may find it useful to play around, moving the units, to judge whether or not a given action is valid.

Right now the units / map info is inaccessible, but I plan on making it possible to update that with a file, such that y'all can get updates to the position / health of units without me having to push a new build to download.

Oh, and do be mindful to run it in windowed mode (default checked), as there is currently no way to quit the program, short of closing the window manually (which means you'll have to alt-tab or use task manager to close the program if you run full screen).

I cannot use this right now. As stated elsewhere I don't have a computer after my dog cracked the screen. I like the idea but it won't work (at least for me)

The 7z file? Or the .exe? What was the error message? Did you try to move the .EXE away from the other folders it extracted to?

If it's just the .7z, I can simply upload a regular .zip instead.

It's a compressed filetype for an open-source software called 7-Zip.

You can either download 7-Zip to open it, or wait till this evening when I have access to my dropbox again, I'll put up a standard .zip instead.

Chief's minion shouts out "Your men are soon to be defeated! Fight me in one on one combat! Loser's soldiers retreat!"

If Gil agrees and calls off his dogs Tames should heal Chief. Otherwise heal Stumbles
Chief will wait on an answer as well. If Gil agrees he'll move four west and one north while swinging his spear otherwise he kicks the elf in the face.

Since we are missing actions for 3 characters with 10 minutes to go, there will be no update today.

WhirdCheese - your conditional actions are not valid as written, since the player / enemy phases alternate - to wait for Gil's response would mean to skip your turn.

It is totally valid to choose to skip your turn, but I am not sure that is what you intended to do, so I am giving the benefit of the doubt to not wanting to waste your turn.
