Hehe, yes... Restrictions can make the "don't split the party" rule more important...
Party Split...the leading cause of negative hit points in games...

So... I feel an OOC thread is in order, so I don't respond in game every time :)

About the "move first attack/act later" rule.
If you were wondering, it's made so players won't "attack->move away from slower opponents or use other such methods. I know there are still ways.. This one is just one of my pet pewees...

That said... Feel free to talk around :)

But attack - retreat has been a well used military tactic for centuries...
Just as Robert E. Lee

Hehe.
Yes... Indeed... And done right it's an excellent tactic. But in such a simple game as this one? Waaaay to effective to be fair.

Fair...
Fair is what children demand when they are losing...
Fair is the word that means 'balanced to my side'....
Fairness is the wrapping paper of self serving ideas...

Just out of curiosity, can the spear that Cannon has also be used in melee battle? It looks neither too brittle nor to "short" to be of use by throwing it only.

@ quarg: you're welcome to the femur, but if the Gello progresses, I'd rather get stuck between the exit and it, than between the (undiscovered) dungon and it. If you move your char to B1, though, I can pass it over to you.

Nah, sorry, the spear is to brittle for close combat.... but you can always hit with your hands :)

Err...couldn't you pass it over as you go past Canon?

I might have, if I noticed your request earlier. ^^

Plus, I don't know how giving stuff to other goblins works, if there is a range limit or whatever (I would have assumed goblins would have to be on the same square or on adjacent squares at least to trade things). If I had Tin Can just toss it at Cannon, LAYF might have counted it as ranged attack for all I know. :stab: o:)
