STARGATE
JUMP-GATE 48

ABOUT:
Spoiler: show
Open game, using voting and suggestion system.
Updaten when i have some time to kill :)
Any questions, please use OOC: then spoiler.

The game is inspired by Movies and series such as Stargate, Dune, Terra nova and even Stranger things.

We follow a Unit of special Jump gate personnel, lead by Master Sergent/Commander 13. Nicolas A. Arskow.
On their mission to locate and rescue or reestablish contact with personnel who has been lost on the planet of Jump Gate 48.
In addition, and intelligence and equipment gathered and/or left by the personnel are to be brought back to Jump command.
Of course, Nicolas must also find a way to get back to jump command.

The jump itself was a success.
Arrival message to Jump control transmitted.
After initial landing, Jump-gate 48 collapsed after an explosion that killed 4 men.
The explosion appeared to be caused by what I assume was an unpredicted travel particle eruption.
Unidentified Screak heard half a second before explosion, link unknown.
Options are to travel left or right in relation to the jump-gate.
End of entry.



Abbreviations and Slang : 2: Short for Rifleman 202
AGD: After Gate Discovery.
CMD: Commander - more specific the Commander in charge, currently Commander 13.
Jump control: Special multinational military command center with off world authority, second only to the World United Nations of Earth.
Jump gate: A portal, entry or exit to a network that allows for faster than light travel to preset destinations.
MED Pack: Medic package, usually a man born package with strong stem cell nano surgical medication.
OPT X: Option X, Where X is a number indicating the options index in a list. usually used for items with more than one use.
ZULU: Local time.

Suggestion:
Stay at the gate and study it, try to find out what caused the malfunction. Also try to gather any remaining ... remains from the other team mates (e.g. dog tags for their relatives) and/or equip that might be around.
If the previous team lived through the jump, they might also have left indicators into which direction they were going. :idea:

IF majority votes for going into either direction, mark the way with little arrows (in the direction we are going, not in the direction we are coming from).
Don't call me GI. I'm not a government issue.

The other team probably had good reason to put these explosives here and it would suck to take them and then need to plant them in the same place later. Undisturbed as they are, if we need them later we can always come back for them.

The jump itself was a success.
Arrival message to Jump control transmitted.
After initial landing, Jump-gate 48 collapsed after an explosion that killed 4 men.
The explosion appeared to be caused by what I assume was an unpredicted travel particle eruption.
Unidentified Screak heard half a second before explosion, link unknown.
