((Back early. Thanks for keeping things rolling, Spider!))

Randy positions himself so that if Coljin's coup de grace doesn't finish the lizard, he'll be in a flanking position to strike.

Randy will try experimenting with the planar warrior again. He still suspects he can do something with that.

Holger moves over to the sleeping lizard as well, readies a fire bolt to take it out. (within 5 ft so it's an automatical crit)
He gives Randy and Coljin a nod to show he is ready when they are.

Holger fire bolt: 2D20.HIGH(1)+6 = [15, 9]+6 = 21
Fire bolt damage: 2D10 = [6, 7] = 13

Mace/coup de grace: 1D20+4 = [17]+4 = 21
Mace damage: 1D6+2 = [3]+2 = 5
He takes his time to line up the strike and the hits the lizard.

Holger joins Coljin and Randy circle round the sleeping lizard, each aiming a blow (or bolt) and striking at the same time.

Holger's firebolt sears through flesh, and Coljin lands a good thwunk with his mace... Randy, as he looked at the creature and waited for the others, had reached out to it, imagining a portion of the creature's essence being partially plucked forth and pulled taut. Picturing it pulled between the planes... but probably nothing?

As the ranger swings down, his blade strikes the lizard with a thruumm, the blade and lizard vibrating as in his mind's eye, the taut essence snapped back to this plane as he is spattered with gore. Randy is a bit disoriented and unsure what just happened.

What the others see is his blade strike the lizard and pass into it... but not as slicing, just passing through, as if sinking into water. As it does, there is a concussion, and a crater is blown out of the side of the beast, all around Randy's blade, flinging liquefied viscera across everyone within 5 feet, and blasting away the harness and some of the packs.

Nem giggles and manages to extricate the happy polecat from her hood. She promises he can stay out for a while if he'll just pay attention for a minute and make sure they aren't all about to get murdered by bandits or whatever trouble the others have run off into. She also asks him (telepathically) if he has any good ideas for securing a cart when they need to leave it (like that breaking and mending trick I may or may not have learned from a certain GM in a different game :P).

Perception (Again): 1D20.HIGH(1)+2 = [16]+2 = 18
1D20.HIGH(1)+2 = [20]+2 = 22

... right then. I guess you guys are about to meet Ily, now that hes apparently on his very best behaviour

He cocks his head at you, not offering any indication he knows anything about carts, before scurrying up onto a bit of rock and turning about. It doesn't seem that he notices anything of immediate danger, though he sniffs a bit at the scent of blood wafting through the air from the recently blasted lizard. He starts chasing his tail around in circles at your feet.

"WOW. That was interesting. And a bit overkill." He shrugs at Randy, not really sure what happened with him, waiting to see if there is further explanation.

He will ignore the gore on himself for now and take a look at the lizard and see what was in the packs it was still carrying. "Randy, Holger, more luggage packs were blown off of this thing, we should check what it was carrying."

Assuming Holger will recognise it as a force effect he'll say the following.

"Huh.. not completely crazy then. Also explains why the arrow did nothing. You might want to practice doing it in the swing and not after you've stabbed someone to prevent the spray.. It's sort of a raw magic designed to harm, commonly just refered to as force. Most commonly known from the popular magic missile spell where small missiles hits with a powerful force. Not one I usually use, but I believe Tess might have seen it's effect against the blights, when we made sure they wouldn't take Rudolph to their lair.

During the explanation he'll help take a look through the bags on the lizard. Once done with the explanation, he'll be nice enough to cast prestidigitation to clean himself and the others for any gore if they want it gone.

"The point is I didn't know how to do that at all before my ...dream. Specifically that information was given to me by the All-Mother in that dream. That suggests the possibility it WASN'T just a hallucination. I think I was happier thinking it possibly was. Ignorance is bliss, sometimes..."

Randy accepts the cleaning job from Holger, tells himself to stop emo-ing, and starts looking around for the bags.

Deciding that the carts are probably safe enough, Nemeia stays hidden as best she can, using Ily to scout out the best and most sneaky way to some place where she can see the others and what they're up to. Neither of them do a particularly good job though.

Zephyr picks herself up, slightly embarressed about her falling in front of everyone. She starts climbing, quickly overcoming the fall.

Zephyr scrabbles to the top, where Maji and the lizard are squaring off 10 feet away. She can see a robed figure running away in the distance, the fairly open expanse of rock giving easy sight of its departing form.

Ulmwin keeps winding his way through the rocky debris, but it looks like its starting to open up ahead.

The robed figure keeps running, now having put ~150 feet between it and Maji.

The lizard chomps at the bear again, chomping into his furry flesh.

Zephyr climbs down and races after the robed figure, intent on catching him. (She'll use her bonus extra action to add a boost of speed to her pursuit)

Yep! Maji moves 40 so he should be able to catch up fast. And I think I should be able to catch up to him before rage wnds, so I would want to keep biting myself a little along the way.
